Not sure where you want the feedback about the questions mentioned in the stream you I'll just put it here: I don't think it's a very good idea to reveal all planets until it's really like in the last fifth of the game (mich like Civilizations Satellite). It would just take out too much of the exploration aspect of the game. However I think revealing the stars could even be more expansive. From the stream it looks like all you can tell is that there is a star.<
Also, I don't understand how it is that you go from the description of sequential turns to 'the player who clicks faster wins.' 'The player who clicks faster wins' is an issue of simultaneous turns, not sequential turns. Or are you arguing that a game which operates on sequential turns in single-player would become a simultaneous-turn mess in multiplayer?
I don't see where I do that. GalCiv3 will use

Edit: Ok, so now I was able to check the multiplayer system and it actually works completely different to anything I have seen before and it makes my whole posting pretty redundant. So what I will do instead is praise the Developers for their implementation and explain it to everyone who wonders: GalCiv3 works like this: TURN1 -Player A's Turn -Player B's Turn TURN 2 -Player A's Turn -Player B's Turn Now within the
Another huge comments right off is that the planetary interface should pop up when you select that planet right over the planet and not in the corner so it's just right there upon selection and it makes it easier to launch ships.
You can doubleclick on the Planet to get right to it. Felt fine with me. Also had no "problems" with the font being hard to read or so. Didn't look bad to me (same resolution). But I don&

Hey there, first to my background: Played quite a while ago: MOO2, GalCiv2, Armada 2526 Gold, Endless Space, and most recently Civ 5 (played 582h mainly MP) of which I will take a couple of examples. I played this first steam alpha build for 110 minutes as steam says and here is my feedback so far. I know this is still an alpha and some balancing things will be fixed later on anyways, but I think it won't hurt to mention them now already. I also don't care much about "
Generally speaking we are fine with ads on user videos, but you may not use our logos. You can just type the names/titles out. As Island Dog noted, any alphas/betas should note such and this is all subject to any particular prohibitions that may be set when prerelease versions are made available.
Just to avoid any problems: It is ok when we use the GalCiv3 Logo (and other Logos) on the thumbnail for the video, isn't it?

Thank you for this very detailed overview! It indeed helped a lot. It's weird though that the mod which sounds like it changes the least actually changes the most. ut well, I don't really like to play something "unfinished". I think Tolmekian's mod sounds the most like what I am looking for. So I will try out that one at first. Thanks alot!

Heya, I played Galciv2 maybe 1 or 2 years ago as vanilla version and was thinking about giving it another try with mods. In Civilization 4 I was a big fan of Rise of Mankind and mods like these which basically gave more of everything. Now I checked this forum and saw basically 3 mods which mainly focus on fixing and balancing: -Autumn Twilight 0.6 by Gaunator -Tolmekian's TechTree Fix v3.5 -Altarn's Polished Twilight of the Arnor 1
