Ok, now I can't be 100% sure because I ended up logging out and then back into windows to make my icons return but I just figured out the whole double click on the desktop to make the icons disappear and then re-appear trick. So..... might not but a bug. I did, however, have an instance where the top bar on all my windows that allows you to move them, minimize, maximize, and close had vanished. But changing to a new theme in WindowBlinds made them reappear. Ugh, new toys! :)</

I just recently purchased the Object Desktop program bundle from Stardock. I am using the Fences program to organize my desktop icons and WindowBlinds to customize my desktop. The issue I am running into is when I attempt to switch to a new wallpaper using the WindowBlinds program menu it switches to the new wallpaper but then all icons and Fences disappear from my windows desktop. Any suggestions?

Hey Brad. I know you have your whole Stardock family hard at it with SK Rivals just out, more work going into Offworld, big expansions for GalCiv 3 and Ashes, plus your unannounced projects, and then this wee little old Star Control reboot but I'm all for hearing more about the team and the design processes you are running through. I totally get this games is still early stage so course corrections are to be expected. And this is why I signed on as a founder. Thanks for all the feedback t

1. UI Tweak - On the City Details window make a list on the left hand side that looks similar to the one on the right but it can list what buildings you have currently built in the city with the option to sell them instead of the small thumbnail icons that are currently in the city mini-map in the lower left of the city details window.

Sorcerer King: Rivals 2.0.1 (9/23 hot patch) Hello, We have fixed a few issues with Rivals and wanted to get them out to you as soon as possible. Please note that text changes will only appear when you start a new game. You may need to restart Steam to update. Changed the Ascension Rules so you have to have 75% of the Orb for victory (used to be 2/3). Fixed the Tactical Camera to respect the 'A

Not sure if this is working as intended or not. I never played the Tinker in vanilla Sorcerer King but I downloaded Rivals and fired up a campaign using the Tinker. In my first battle I cast vorpal sword and summoned one into the fight. After the battle ended I had gone into my equipment screen and found the weapon was there. I could equip it onto characters in my army or sell it for 2 mana. This was also true for both the vorpal spear and vorpal bow as I tested them later. (although the

When I received my confirmation e-mail that my star name was approved I got extra excited as it appeared at first read that the alpha download was available too.... but heart break it was not to be found in my Steam client. But soon, soon I say!! " Thank you for submitting your planet name to be included into Star Control. It has been approved, and will be added to the game sometime between now and the game’s release. Your planet name

I really love where the music is going. I love the overall synth / space theme. Having music for different planetary types is a great idea. As you move from pre-battle to an actual battle on a planet will the music shift to a more driving type? I like these "pre" battle tracks. They start out dark and alluding towards the conflict to come. Will there be more than one Dialogue / space track for each race based on your current status with them, peace/war? (additio

My two cents on the voice acting samples I've listened to the 6 voice actor samples for the Tywom race and I have 3 of them that I prefer in general. I would rank them in this order: Chris S, Ben D, and then Spike S. The accent that Chris S has reminds me of the character Kolrami in the Star Trek TNG episode Peak Performance. He sounds full of himself, will back down when pushed, but won't run away entirely. Ben D sounds mischievous but not

I've not yet played the new Elite but I played the original on the Commodore 64. I distinctly remember getting frustrated as I tried to rotate my ship to keep it aligned with the spinning space station to dock. But then low and behold after earning somewhere around 10,000 credits I was able to afford the docking computer. After that all I had to do was get close enough to turn it on and in I went. It was actually kind of humorous after that because I can recall numerous occasions whe
