I did recreate mostly everything from scratch to give it a high resolution (But it's only a screenshot). Even if you make a screenshot using someone's WB skin and a wallpaper. Why would there be any problem with a screenshot. We are not talking about uploading actual skin. A screenshot is only to show off your desktop configuration - teaser. It can never be a big deal. One way or another, I'll still be watching Mike Bryant and others closely.
I'm not looking foward to be seen as a skinners. That's why I never upload any skin. I just want to be seen as someone having some fun with skinning. I was so close to adding another 2 years to my WC Subcription to make it 3 years.
I've been part of the community for many years as Elsius Saint. Am I really needed? What have I done wrong? I don't even upload skins, but only screenshots and spend my time encouraging others for their works positively.
Abuse of power, can it really be stopped? A screenshot is a screenshot. Nothing is more innocent than that. I have made a windowblinds skin based on Nvidia Reactor Windows Media Player by TSF. The skin turned out as if the great Pixtudio group made it. People loved the screenshot and have shown love toward it. I have updated many skins that are available to the publics, yet I never shared them because I know the authors still have full rig
Ever since the PCI Express standard appeared on the market back in the early summer of 2004, we have been bombarded with various graphic cards featuring X16 slot. The X4 and X1 simply did not take off the ground, and with Creative and AGEIA debuting their latest gen products using the obsolete PCI bus - things were certain to paralyse the market inside old PCI arena. True, there was a Matrox x1 PCIe graphics card, and there were more than se
When we learned about the Sony "DRM" software that was being employed very ala-spyware, it was mused at that point that it could be used for dangerous and unsavory things. It's already occurring, as cheaters playing in Blizzard's World of Warcraft online game have found ways to use it to their advantage. Blizzard, under just as much controversy as Sony for their software, uses an aggressive scanning method to detect cheat programs when peopl
More spyware in the news. After infecting over 26,000 machines with a variant of an internet worm, a 20 year old in Los Angeles has been arrested for using those infections to get money. Selling ads for a 180Solutions based company and another ad provider, as well as renting his network of infected machines to others, he pulled in nearly $60,000 in the course of a few months. It wasn't to last, and now he doesn't face just fraud charges, but a lot more: <
Nvidia has either suffered a catastrophic breakdown or the firm is suffering from shame. Normally a 'new' product like the 256MB version of the PCI-E 6600GT would lead to fanfares and an inbox full of press releases. But everything has been done in a very hush-hush way. It might seem strange that nVidia has had to sneak the 256MB 6600GT out but it's one of the firm's darkest secrets. It can't have escaped the notice of many gaming and graphi
Philips is making a dramatic return to the industry with new technology that will bring ambient light, colour, sound, heat and airflow to gamers' experiences. Four years in the making, the amBX technology will see dedicated peripherals work with enabled games. For example, lights will beam colours around the room to recreate the environment of the game, fans can blow to simulate mountain winds, heat will blast out to represent enemy fire and
Apple has released a 97MB update to its OS X 10.4 Tiger operating system which takes the software up to version 10.4.3. Apple's website lists 60 improvements to Tiger, and bundled applications including Spotlight, the Safari internet browser and Mail email client. The patch claims to deliver increased system performance, additional compatibility with third-party products and the fixing of a number of bugs. Additionally, the update r
The Hubble Space Telescope has spotted two possible new moons around Pluto, the ninth planet in the Solar System. If confirmed, it would bring Pluto's tally of satellites to three; Charon, the only known moon of Pluto, was discovered by astronomers in 1978. Confirmation of two new moons would shed light on the evolution of the Kuiper Belt, the vast region containing icy objects beyond Neptune's orbit. All the candidate moons seem to or
As stated on the story: Sony DRM Installs a Rootkit, it seems that some of Sony's disks install a rootkit on your system after you try to listen them on your PC. Why does it matter? A rootkit is A type of Trojan that keeps itself, other files, registry keys and network connections hidden from detection. It runs at the lowest level of the machine and typically intercepts common API calls." It is dangerous because hackers
After facing a chorus of criticism from computer enthusiasts, Sony BMG has released a software patch that removes controversial cloaking technology found in copy protection software the company has been shipping with some of its CDs. Critics had slammed the software for being invasive and extremely difficult to remove because it uses some of the same "rootkit" cloaking techniques normally found in spyware or viruses. Rootkit softw

WinCustomize Subscription - Judgemen Day I have subscribed only and only because I wanted to help out. Most of the skins I use, I get from Deviant Art and elsewhere for free - same skins that are being posted here. I knew right from the start that wincustomize would not get 1000 new subscribers because the attractions were very poor. What you can find here, you can find almost anywhere or they will find you. They use the Elsius Saint Law by not showing a clear screenshot of the Windowblinds because if he can see it, he can do it.

Ok! I can't update my information for my subscriber status to show up. If I create a new account, will my old skins be transfered to the new account as well?
----BREAKING NEWS---- As soon as Super Wizop MikeB314 made the 'Halloween Skin' available, more than 200 new people have subscribed. The goal of having 2000 new subscribers in just one month could have been double if were better planned. Not because I'm his fan and learning through his works, if Mike had already given time to make some new premium skins instead of saying what you will get in the future, more than 4000 new people w
