The final mission was a big disappointment; basically a glorified game of whack-a-mole with nydus worms spontaneously popping up across your base. No real strategy, just spam units and move them around to deal with the new attack wave that popped up.
Somebody's playing on casual [e digicons];)[/e] All in is a great mission. Civ 5 has some amazing art direction. Never played any of the Civ games. #1 came out before I was born :p I tried to save all the money I could, so I never bought many video games, it probably would have been worth it from all of heard.

His abilities all cost double what they should, except shadow swap, which is reasonable. Like QoT, he has no ability to sustain his abilities in a fight. UB or Erb can do what DA can, but better. They're more survivable, and they have stuns and slows, making them as good if not better than DA. Although shadow swap is really nasty... stuns and slows are more lethal. In a 3v3 fight over the health flag.. you can't say you'd rather have DA than UB, Erebus, or Oak.
The Demon Assassin is worthless - worst DG in the game, only shadow swap makes him somewhat useful Oculus is pretty good because of all his burst damage, he only has one good build, 3/4 of his skills are either broken or useless. There have been no balance patches in over a year to my knowledge Erb/Oak/UB are still in every game The community completely died after SC2 came out. You're pretty much caught up :p
Oh, so no 2 collectors can mine a single crystal at the same time right? I didn't notice it the short time i played the campaign, i just spammed SCVs, turns out i'm even more noob at Starcraft than i thought
The distance between the crystals and your CC/Hatch/Nexus is such that you can have 3 mining per mineral patch and they won't conflict too much. Once you have 4, the fourth one doesn't increase your mining speed at all. <p
About SC II, i don't really see the point of making (early) expansions. I mean, with the RETARDED no-limit of collectors per mineral crystal, just double your number of SCVs/whatever in your starting base and save the cost for the new Command Center/whatever until your starting base is actually running out of his crystals.
After you have 3 workers per mineral patch, that patch is saturated - same with gas. You also get diminishing returns for the numbe
Like 4nana said Synn, you kind of have to expand, then turtle a bit to survive the inevitable push that will come when people see your expansion. I'd still be hesitant to expand as T against Zerg because they could just double expand and since you spent your minerals on static D there's nothing you could really do about it

Savage 2 is a good game. It's a melee third person shooter, which is really fun. FPS games are just retardedly easy to play unless they have some cool mechanics. At least .. on a computer that is... I'm ambidextrous so WASD + right hand mouse is a ridiculously awesome combination for me :D Any FPS where there are long range weapons is derp. Anyone with a good mouse hand can just kill people from a mile away without even being seen
I thought you was cool, necromancers for life!
Warcraft 3 had the most AMAZING necromancer action. You just roll into a guy's base with necromancers and meat wagons full of corpses, raise an army, then back off and let your army whittle theirs down. I eventually had to switch to Humans because Undead sucked so bad. What I find interesting is how much Warcraft copied Starcraft's mechanics. &
Lol I take it we both like vampires
I like necromancers. Any character who can take control of other characters or raise undead armies is fun to play IMO Except in Demigod, where the minions are kind of lame.
Stuns are just as delicious here as they are in Dota/DG Nosferatu's minions can't be controlled, it made me so sad. Oh, and his lifesteal is PUNY. It's like "you steal 50 health from an enemy," meanwhile, everyone is running around with 3k hp lol. The two handed sword is pretty BA though, it is a force of destruction in a team fight. :D
Now, look at SCII, or any other strat game. A Marine? It will always take the same amount of time to finish.
Only Terran. Protoss have chrono boost and warp gates which completely change the mechanics of when units are built and where. Zerg units can be produced simultaneously without unit producing structures, Queens and expansions allow for extra larvae, good Zerg players can power drones when they don't need to build their army, givi
Honestly, I think DG would of done a lot better with better mod support. If there was a game with mod "ULTRA BALANCE!" and you didn't have it, but when you joined the game it automatically downloaded, then I think a community balance mod would of worked out a lot better. Most people who played Demigod didn't go to the forums, and even if they did, they usually wouldn't try to download the mod, and even if they did, some didn't know
A series of free updates = 1 update obviously.
