Oculus' weakness is that he has no interrupts, no stuns, and he costs a lot of mana. His only great strength is his burst damage, which is pretty substantial. Early game he has to buy two helms, so he won't have as much health as everyone else, but he'll do a lot of damage if you don't recognize him as a threat, especially in 3v3 fights.

Kia, all I have to say is WTF? You took no shoulder upgrades and you took stats over boulder roll 2. You know it lengthens the stun right? Also, I can see why you would get early slam, but getting towers and slam at level 4 was just pointless IMO, you didn't have near enough mana to pull that off. You guys chased them like mad, which was kind of dumb. They had a fire TB and two queens, they would have to be kind of derp to die with all that speed and shielding.

It's not worth it when you miss a kill opportunity because snipe is on cooldown or because you blew your mana for a tiny bit of damage. The only way reg can ever push anyone mid to late game is with constant mark + mines; snipe isn't cost effective at point blank range, not to mention it can be easily interrupted, meaning you just took quite a bit of damage for no reason.

Mark of the Betrayer is an amazing skill, but I see people using it incorrectly all the time. If you're chasing an Oak or a Sedna, you should mark their allies, as they will try to stun you or slow you down or do anything in their power to stop you from pursuing. Mark either forces them to stop casting and let you pursue your target, or if they cast, they will kill/damage their teammate. If your team has any sort of coordination, all you *need* is one interrupt/stun so long as it is timed well. Of course, the best solution to enemies locking your portals is to not lose your portals in the first place.

Being able to lock flags becomes meaningless when your team can't win a group fight. I played a random game yesterday, Oculus/Oculus/Erebus vs. TB/Oak/Sedna It didn't matter that my team had only one stun and no interrupts against a stun, three interrupts, and silence because double oculus does so much burst damage to everyone the sedna didn't have time to heal, and oak could only save one person.
