Actually the Valkyrie class was the last Battlestar design. mercury class was built to replace the Columbia class. Then Adar started downsizing the fleet. Building Valkyries instead of mercury's.

Well The nickname of the Galatica was the Bucket. Also Warships are not meant to be Pretty. i think it looks like a Mean old Dog of War it's meant to be.

Yes I did Read the Timeline. Hopefully with private enterprise now going into space maybe the commercial aspect will lead to some great advances. I am hopeing for a ftl drive system so we can start colonizing other worlds. There are too many chances for a "skynet" or Cylon's for me when dealing with AI's. [e digicons]o_O[/e] Good work though.
