Lots of good ideas. Something asked for awhile back is a change to the UI for heroes selecting Paths. I think there is interest from modders doing custom Paths, but the UI for path selection is wonky. And yes, I know the work arounds, but it needs to be KISS for the less gifted among us.

This came out yesterday and I think really shows the problem with Facebook. http://www.wired.com/2014/08/i-liked-everything-i-saw-on-facebook-for-two-days-heres-what-it-did-to-me/ It's not really a surprise to the tech savvy. I do believe there is a place for Social Networking, the problem is that most of what's out there is less about the connections of community and more about how do we aggregate and monetize our members. I'm aware of a number
I regularly use Facebook and there is some value in that it does aid somewhat in keeping in touch with friends who have busy lives. I do agree with the OP though that concerns targeted messages and conversations which should by default NOT be shared with your friends list en masse, because the obvious intent was to a single person, not a general share. I would go so far as to say ALL of my FB friends/family hate the continuous changes to Facebook and feel that their privacy
I've been using Gadwin PrintScreen for years. IMO it's been the best free option out there for Windows, though I couldn't say if it's available for Mac/Linux. http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/

I might also guess that the people predominantly playing strategy games skew older. For me, I prefer Turn-Based games. When life shouts at you to do something, it's amazing to be able to walk away and deal with those situations without disrupting other people's game time. A large part why I don't do much with MMO's any more.
What about summoned creatures that the player does not fully control? i.e. they attack the enemy but are not controlled by the player. Summon Dire Animal (Level 1) - Summons giant animal (Wolf, Bear) that automatically attacks randomly selected enemy units
I was just thinking about something similar. Kind of like the Wild Mages in DnD, with a Summoner spin. You would
Summon a boulder that blocks Line of Sight. Oh yeah, NM, that's not this game.. Sorry, couldn't resist.
The existing Razing mechanic is complete rubbish. A lone bear wanders into a fledgling town and it gets turned to dust just because..
Quoting BernieTime, reply 51 Another thing that needs to be done is at least enable a windows slider bar on the Path selection screen [Warrior, Defender, etc.] if more than 5 paths exist. This would make it a lot easier for modders to add more Path content to the game. I have 3 additional Paths already flowcharted, just not motivated with the UI being what it currently is. I prefer this approac

The list of things you're working on is great! One of these days, or a future expansion of LH, I look forward to being able to Edit Sovereigns because if you need to change something the only option now is to delete it and recreate from scratch. This would have made the Leader Pack DLC worth the money. Another thing that needs to be done is at least enable a windows slider bar on the Path selection screen [Warrior, Defender, etc.] if more than 5 paths exist.
This is an old article but still relevant; http://annoyances-resolved.blogspot.com/2011/05/firefox-memory-problem-solved-or-rather.html "It turns out that Firefox will by default automatically adjust the number of history pages PER TAB. The adjustment is such that for most of the modern computers, you will store 8 history pages PER TAB. This is clearly not
Box.com offers a good amount of space and I've been using it for years
I wouldn't get too down on Casual gamers as if development was just left to the hardcore audience, a lot of games would be unplayable by more than a handful of hardcore gamers. Games need to have some basic appeal as you reveal the complexity within. I put faith in the game designer's vision and their ability to stay the course without losing sight of the end product due to a handful of people trying to drive it off a cliff.
This might appeal to some of you It's currently beta and is live in the Philippines. http://www.gamezebo.com/news/2014/05/12/marvel-meets-xcom-avengers-alliance-tactics Sadly, it's not a stand alone game. It's monetized Free to Play. Marvel Avengers Alliance Tactics [MAAT] is browser based, but don't let that dissuade yo
I've just been using the Drive Wipe utility that is included in CCleaner. I do have another app for DoD compliant drive wipe, so not sure whether this really offers me anything beyond what I have now =/
Malwarebytes isn't an Anti-Virus, it's Anti-Malware, which is okay to run multiples of (not that I'd want to). You are correct that running multiple A/V is not a good thing. Though I occasionally recommend keeping an on demand cloud-based A/V installed as a backup to their regular app.
Is it just me, or doesn't it seem silly that your first building doesn't already have this grandfathered into your city? It's unique to the starting city wouldn't really be built anywhere else. Feels like a needless time sink to me.
Jack, Malwarebytes Pro got a major upgrade recently. A number of the issues you describe no longer apply
AVG stopping being good a long time ago [post version 9], once they decided to become a bundle app. Avast is decent, though it might be a bit "talky" for some people I really like Unthreat Anti-Virus, except their Free version randomly updates to the Premium Trial and expires [~3-4 months]. Good news is that you can reinstall the free version, but that's a real hassle for some people. What I do recommend 100% is to PURCHASE Malwarebytes PRO. It&#
This is the first DLC where I felt I wanted my $5 refunded. I bought all the others, and was fine with that because they all brought something new to the game and each $5 helped support the development of future product. However, if your internal numbers for this DLC could reflect buyer's remorse, I don't think you'd like the number it returned.
Already posted a checklist of stuff I didn't like, but coming back to play LH after a long break in part to see how it stacked up to the current alternatives, all I can say is that LH is nearly unplayable now (for me) due to 2 things; 1. Ranged Combat; Archers having no range penalty. Getting thrown onto a map where my melee units have to take 5-6 turns to close the gap while getting mowed down. Not Fun 2. Line of Sight doesn't matter. #1 wouldn't
I really wish that when releasing all these new Sovereigns that there would have been more options added to the paper dolls for each faction. Would have walked away happy.
