Could you post a save, where this can be readily observed, to a cloud storage service (Google Drive, DropBox, OneDrive) with any special instructions on how how to reproduce it (if not obvious). Thanks for your report and help here.
When / how is the opportunity to opt in offered? I'm on Steam, and I'm not seeing it (restarted both Steam and game -- nothing).
The patch has been released. Opting-in is no longer necessary.

Will the mini-expansions be available for purchase separately from the season pass? Some people might like to just buy one or two to see if they like it or not want to buy something that isn't released.
-First, is the time limit on the Scryve movement. I feel I was just getting to know my sector before they started taking over and getting close to Earth. I like to explore, so a little more leeway would have been nice. (I don't know how long it would have took though, it felt urgent.) I think I only got one or two sub-quest done not dealing with any of the main races.
You can push the Scryve back by destroying their fleets in the systems they captured.
Hi, If you give the starbase commander 100 Francium + Hyper-Drive she just keeps asking for more of them. Did it twice: 1. Drenkered (whatever) drive 2. Menknek (whatever) drive Is this supposed to happen?
Yes, it can be completed up to three times.
Quoting , quoting post 3. The game will let you know that you don't need to land on every crummy planet if you're landing on a bunch of crummy planets. #1 negative review source has been people landing on thousands of planets and thinking that's the way to make money. SC doesn't have a

The Subspace Drive is an engine. You need hyperdrive engines, Tywom Cuddle Drive and Not so Cuddle Drive do not count, 100 units of Francium and locate a potential colony site. After you bring these to the commander you will be able to purchase human ships and after some time a colony will appear. This can be completed up to 3 times.

You have to talk with the Drenkend until they tell you to go there.

^Could we please not turn every thread about the lawsuit, we already have one. I haven't finished Kessari yet, still have to deal with the Eternal Ones. But one thing I have to add is that the fight against the leader of Hegemonic Crux, Plextor or whatever his name is, was anticlimactic, especially when compared to the other battles in the game. What I would have done is had him have ships in his fleep from species that are part of the Crux and if you managed to get that speci
I don't remember if it was raised before... How do Humans understand Scryve? How do humans have the necessary equipment to even open a channel (this requires knowing the frequencies, encryption, modulation method, etc.)? It is a plot hole in my opinion. Easily fixed with a few dialog lines from Tywom.
This is actually explained later, humans don't have the technology to communicate. But aliens do, well most a
By your reading, what rights to the names are granted? There's clearly a section discussing the names (as I quoted), and it assigns *some* sort of rights to Reiche.
In my nonlawyer opinion, since trademarks cover names and trademarks were intentionally excluded, none.
How on earth can a developer deceive the publisher about who owns which part of the copyright? Didn't Accolade know each and every developer who contributed to SC1 and SC2, since they were all listed in the credits, and weren't all copyright issues covered by the 1988 agreement? Plus, the "Copyright Fred Ford and Paul Reiche III" notices that were printed in-game, on the game boxes, and in the manuals were all presumably put there with Accola
