You didn't happen upon pirates who tried to take your RU
Sylandro probes, well they wanted to convert your ship to RU, but the basic idea is the same. I am actually excited about the concept of living galaxy, I always felt that the universe in SC2 felt too static. It would be nice that as you gather allies and whatever else for Star Control the area of influence of Earth/Star Control expands, and in that area there are allied ships that are patrolling.
I have a few questions. In Origins the Earthlings went with robots instead of clones, but does humanity have any clones in Originis? And if so how are they treated? Also are there any uplifted animals ? The Ancient One is stated to eat the atmospheres of inhabited planets, will it be stationary in the game or will it actually move and consume critters from plan
No, no - I said intelligent debate, not just saying the opposite. Justify your opinion. Your NUMBER ONE foe for a large portion of the game is the Slylandro. They absolutely plague you along your journey, until you're strong enough to defeat them. If you haven't gathered, I'm including aliens that you have conversations with. IF there's a conversation screen, they're in the game in a tangible way. But Androsynth? They
There was a discussion on Discord about planet exploration, which spiraled into what methods players used to gather Resource Units (RU). Which got me thinking that it would be more interesting if there were multiple viable methods of collecting RU. Let's look at the methods in SC2: 1. Planet exploration A rather low risk method, at least compared to number 3. Rewards varied based on planets. 2. Selling information to the Melnorme More uncommon than the
Slylandro robots are a group of creatures you interact with, on the conversation screen and interact with in ways you don't interact with, say, critters on planets.
I disagree about the Slylandro - whatever they are, they're a race you encounter and converse with, and they're non-humanoid.
The probes are not a race, specie or civilization. I disagree with some of the classifications on your list. You added the Sylandro probes which are non-sapient machines. You split the Ur-Quan in two, but did not add the Androsynth to the humanoid list. The Yehat are on the non-humanoid, but the Pkunk are on the humanoid list. You forgot to add the Shofixti. And for some aliens form Star Control classic we never saw the whole body, example Melnorme. Concerning the designs for Origins, I like what I have seen so far, keep the

Out of curiosity will E&I be turn-based, real time or real time with pause?
Founder's Vault has been updated.
Origins uses the same engine as Ashes of the Singularity, Nitrous.
Does this not have everything to do with money? I had assumed that if we purchased outside of Steam, Steam doesn't get paid, so won't count our review. Is that not right?
Originally reviews from people who obtained the game via key were counted. It was changed because some companies were giving away keys in exchange for a positive review.
My thoughts. Story The addition of Mars being destroyed ups the ante and delivers the message that the humans are in big trouble. I like the change. It would be funny that if in their attempt to defeat the Scryve the humans create/release something far worse. Or maybe they become something worse. Creatures Like the look of them, wish there were more. But I understand that development resources are finite. Why does the rare Huthim have

So after reading the PDF a second time a few things stood out to me. " If you help gather the missing pieces and some resources for repair, they will show you how to hook up the missing hyperdrive module to your ship so that you can leave the solar system to seek out other allies before the Scryve reach Earth." Does that mean we could choose not to help Tywom and set out on our own? I'd like an option to try to win without allies, of course there would

While I do know the answer to some questions, I am under NDA so I can only answer with what is available to the public. 1) & 2) It was stated in the official press release: "Star Control: Origins is scheduled for release on PC and consoles with the PC release scheduled for 2017."
I like the human theme. I also echo the sentiment that another medium world type is needed, maybe Frozen. I like the ship designs and can't wait to try them out.
Will post my thoughts on planet after I take look at them again. Regarding harvesting, I liked in SC2 discovering materials, what I did not enjoy was playing space cargo hauler. I would prefer that instead of harvesting materials when we discover them we mark the location for future expansion of humanity and are rewarded an amount of ingame currency(credits, spacebucks, whatever it will be called) which we can use to upgrade our ship. After all as humanity's first space ship that
I don't see the comedy or slapstick in the scene most of you are talking about. Maybe the dust cloud could be smaller. For all we know that Tywom is dead.
