I've been asked the same question, mostly from financial companies. I'm 32 years old and have been a professional in IT for 11 years. I have always had long hair. IN the 90's I think it actually HELPED me get some jobs. it just put off the persona of "techie geek". Kind of like "Whoa, if that guy is willing to come in here all confident with long hair, he must know his stuff". My hair is also neat. I dont wear it like a rock star.

Definitely less reboots! I can update my ATI video drivers without a reboot. Could never do that in XP. Startup/Shutdown is definitely faster. I agree, I am sad for WinFS still being on the backburner. However Vector Graphics are in Vista, just that no one is developing desktop apps with them that I've seen.

I disagree on two points. 1. I think UAC is GREAT. I'm a super power-user and I don't mind it at all. I *did* mind it when I first started using Vista, however I have discovered that after your system is running for a month or so, most of the configurations that trigger UAC are done with. The only major mistake in my opinion, is triggering UAC when moving/deleting items on the "all users" start menu. That is obnoxious! The only other thing I dont like about it is that a c

I live in New Jersey....minimum wage is $7.15, until 2009. I said "an extra $500", meaning $48 x 12 months is about $500 a year left over. I greatly disagree that you can get a brand new car for $10,000. Lowest I see online is a Kia Rio for $11,395 before tax and fees.
