I just dont think talking about love/daliance is a good idea on teh internet, can we please stop.
There would some survivors , but most likely not enough to save the human race. Doesn't mean anything. I like the concept. No one cares about some random colonists! I bet the threat is two purge vessels nobody noticed, and forgot to build hangar defense! Err ill edit t

Culture assists your millitary advance Culture hampers their defense Culture boosts your defense Culture boosts your economy Culture weakens their economy Culture is not a way to win the game, it assists you winning the game through your fleet. It works as intended imo, perhaps a marginal buff might be nice, but I would say that: I like Advent. BTW you do realise that 'the gay porn uploader' is the most usefull supe
I don't really get some of this like: "only 3 ship designs" huh? Well as an advent fanboi, err that's what they look like, they are like psychic monks, so they are never gonna look like the 'imperial soldier' TEC or the 'oppressive bugmen' Vasari.
You might have to be careful not to be suckered into a long jump into the wrong place -- as with any other phase jump, you can't abort while you're en route, and it takes time. Problem is, it can be a much, much longer phase jump than others, and you don't necessarily have an easy way back (unless you're jumping to a friendly system with a phase gate, or maybe have a second Kostura to open a gate another your arrival in case
I cant really imagine any of the forces in sins wanting to capture planets intact at all. I imagine that full terran lockdown has a lot more death camps than High density zoning for instance. Most of the stuff you'd want intact is in space anyway. All in all it's a nice thought, but it just doesn't fit in my mind
I liked about world of goo (my fave indie game) and Braid (which I didnt like as much but still thought was kinda cool): Epic Music ( I actually think this is very important for indie games, anything with a cello is a good way to go) *A simple but well implimented concept (world of goo wtfpwned in this respect) You arent a dev team: give us something small but well polished.....* A sense of humour.
Kostura does the following things: Damages every ship and structure in orbit of the planet hit, disables them for a set time and lastly, opens a temporary phase lane for a fleet to use at any phase gate. That explains a lot. In a recent game I couldn't figure out how my ships were able to skip halfway across the galaxy to the targeted planet. This is what I've noticed: 2 or 3 shots from some Novaliths are usually en
Someone noted that the Advent, when played by the AI, seems to be weaker than TEC or Vasari. I've noticed a similar thing, where they just don't seem to hold up all that well. Personally, I think that's because of the "slow starter" nature of the Advent. It takes a little while to build them up, both in terms of economy and ship/fleet strength, but the AI doesn't seem to realize this. It'll rush too early, or fail to build decent defences, things

If you're in Britain point out that they should have worked harder in their degree, aren't really that clever (trust me all school stuff seems like a joke when you're on a degree or a postgrad degree in pretty much any subject+ can do simple maths) and have generally failed in life thusfar, relying on a governmentally provided 'golden handshake' for income. Actually don't; that would be REALLY MEAN. [e digicons]}:)[/e]
if they were advent there is a research called karma that automatically places bounty on you for killing trade ships, it could have been this increasing your bounty.
There is a reset to defaults option in the display menu, which should do it. (theres also probably the individual option that you want as well .)

Also I'm not sure how a linear campaign of sins could ever be interesting to play?
