The homing mine's range should be a little bit shorter than the scouts ability to detect them, otherwise mines would be overpowered, if the only way to destroy them would be to activate them. When all of the mines activated that first time, the scout was probably either on auto-explore or doing a manual move, both of which ignore mines (or so it seems based on experience). But the second time, they stayed out of the range and took them out. The problem that I often have is when scouts d

Thanks Hack78, I never quite got that. Also, do non-colonizable areas break the chain? Do you need to upgrade your starbase to use them? And since the ships can use wormholes, if a wormhole is in between two planets in your chain, is it broken?

Hey everyone, I think I just found a bug. I had this large TEC fleet in with two enemy neutral extractors. While all of them were waiting in there, I just finished the designate target research. Then, all my cielos suddenly used the designate target ability on the neutral (invulnerable) extractor. As soon as they did that, my caps rushed over and started using their abilities. The one that I remember is my marzas using radiation bomb, but I think there were others, too. Has anyone e

yeah, there was a starbase. I always destroy a starbase before I leave the gravity well, but not this time, and I just got the phase destabilization. thanks!

What the heck? I have this large (taking up the whole bar), thoroughly mixed, TEC fleet. I'm competing against another TEC enemy. I jump to a wormhole to their fleet taking up all the bars except one. Immediately, all my ships lost probably half of their health. I figured it was missile barrage, but all they had was a lvl 2 Dunov and other mixed frigates and cruisers. What happened?

I'm sure they'll come running back soon. Based on the calibur of this story, they've definitely not gotten bored, but maybe just busy, like you recently were. I haven't quite gotten the chance to read it all yet (I've got a music performance tomorrow and homework), but I can't wait until the weekend to read it! congrats on the great story! I think the Destra and kodiak have a total hull plus shield difference of about 50 (kodiak with more), but the enforcer has 230 more than the kodiak. I haven't been playing long enough to know if my situation is actually true. I'm just starting to get into large games.

I've noticed that a lot of people seem to like Kodiaks and Destras more that Enforcers because of the higher bang for buck (sorry for that cliche). But wouldn't the higher amout of ship strength (shields and hull), about 230 more from Kodiak to Enforcer, lead to more firepower in the long term? That makes no sense, so I'll give an oversimplified example. If say two skirmishers (blue) are fighting one enforcer (red), and say that the enforcer has exactly twice the amout of hp an
