That explains why I can't see it, I'm using x8AA.

I know this sounds like an odd suggestion, but I think it would be really useful. When there is a large clusterfudge battle going on with a a few Demigods and a ton of minions going on at once, it gets really hard to tell your friendly Demigods apart from the others. This is particularly frustrating when playing as Sedna where you have the ability to heal friendly Demigods. I think outlining Demigods based on the light/dark side, or just outlining
bump, would a stardock employee care to comment please? :)
I pre ordered a few days after Beta 2 was released and I still got in.
I personally think Impulse just needs more advertisement. Not that many people know about it. I LOVE Steam. In fact, only 4 games that I own were NOT purchased from Steam. But I agree that it definitely needs competition. Monopolies are never good. I used Impulse to pre order Demigod and really liked it.
My apologies, I did not know this was already posted.
I just sent in my email to recommending Brad to be a panelist at the meeting. [e digicons][/e]
http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20090106-feds-note-gaming-drm-woes-ftc-to-hold-town-hall-meeting.html 2008 may become known as the year of digital rights management, thanks in no small part to EA's bringing the issue front and center with Spore and the ensuing backlash. These days gamers want to know what kind of DRM
Does this only happen in Demigod?
The problem is that Macs require video cards to have a specific BIOS flashed to them and not the standard BIOS that are on normal PC video cards. At least, that's how it was a year or two ago.
I highly doubt you'll max it at that res with a 2600XT. It's a very weak card. I'm running at 1440x900 completely maxed with x8AA and rarely drop below 60FPS. System specs: Q6600 @4Ghz 6Gb DDR2 8800 GTS 512Mb
I played some Beta 1 but gave up with this Beta 2. Kinda obnoxious that i pre ordered 3 months ago and game still isn't very playable
What do you by not very playable? Performance issues, stutters, ? I haven't had a single performance related issue with the game at all. I have it fully maxed with x8AA at 1440x900 and I very rarely drop below 60 FPS. I just wish the Beta 2 was multithreaded. As of now, it's only rea
I wasn't around for Beta 1, but I've played Beta 2 for a few days. Am I still allowed? I'm kinda depressed by how few people are playing the beta. I thought there would be a lot more.
I've only heard of Deep Silver (publishers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Clear Sky) using Tages. If you're implying that Stardock uses it, you are mistaken.
Yea, as I stated in the OP, it would be a small amount that it heals.
First off, I apologize if this has already been posted. I just think it would be a nice feature to have the flags heal Demigods. Certainly not too much, or it would defeat the purpose of healing potions and the healing stone back at base. But a small percentage of healing as long as you have already capped it would be nice. :)
Meantime if I want to play a game other than TF2 I make sure I've closed Steam because it will drag my performance right down. My computer is 3 months old, and a beast, so I'm pretty sure that isn't the problem.
Steam doesn't effect my performance at all...
Good job guys! Totally deserved.
It is your right and common sense for you to use some sort of DRM. You have to protect your IP. That said, I think DRM crosses the line when your rights as a publisher start to cross the rights of the consumer. The main thing that upsets me with DRM is activation limits as you said. Online activation is not a problem at all. But when you tell me how many times I can install a product that I payed for, that crosses the line. This is why I pretty much only buy games from
Then why is it only using 50% of my first core, and less than 10% of the other 3?
Is this something that will be added on in newer betas/final game? As of now, it's only using ~50% of my first core, and less than 10% of the 3 other cores.
Mass Effect is definitely my favorite game EVER. Love it to death. If only stardock had published it though. I would love to be able to have had a DRM free version from the start.
Thank you kryo, just what I wanted to hear. EDIT: BTW I'm loving Demigod so far. Great game. And that's coming from someone who usually only plays shooters and action games.
I did. And it's not there.
