Best possible solution is the ability to define our own meshes (eg: NIFs) and thus our own bodies and animations. Pretty please??????? [e digicons]:pout:[/e]

A further question in relation to this topic is, will we have access to modify the AI and add in new functionality (ala Civ4 AI SDK)?
Here's my vote for multiple body types (so armies don't look like clones). [e digicons][/e]
Now THAT brings back memories! Dark nights with mates huddled around a pencil drawn map on a ripped out exercise book, with home made unit markers of paper stickytaped to toothpicks in bluetack! I still have my d20 and d50. [e digicons][/e] Oh, and all the computer games were great too, but with none of the glory of true dice-rattling action. [e digicons]-_-[/e]
So SD hasn't released a webkit yet? Probably too early yet for that.
Hehehe, yeah it's a fairly unique avatar that's for sure.
Hmm, this is a good point, but I imagine the will have full random maps, I think It will radomly generate the layout of the map, and then use some sort of algorithm that generates the "zoomed out view". This is completely a guess though.
I'm hoping, but until we get some form of confirmation I'm not getting my hopes up too high. :)
I'll just say that as a modder I'll end up at the site with the best support for modders. :) That includes resources, dedicated forums (even a couple of mod-specific forums for the biggest mods) plus players. Also, if anyone wants a little help I'm not too shabby at website creation myself. ;)
Thanks for the answer guys. :) Yes, by "uploadable content" I meant the Spore similar content. Great to hear they're providing a LOT better ability to streamline what to DL over the lack of anything Spore gave (don't get me started on Spore grrr). Luckmann, I haven't played GalCiv2 (prefer historical/fantasy settings over future) and the depth/scale of modding doesn't phase me. I'm "Dale" of Desert War/Age of Discovery/Combat Mod
Hi all sorry if this has already been asked (be nice I'm new :p). What modding facilities will we have for E:WOM? Are we only limited to the "uploadable content" to inhabit the Worlds? Or like Civ4 will we be able to create almost entirely new games? Or somewhere in between? Thanks. :)
I am looking forward to both a campaign mode and a sandbox mode. But one question I have, are true random maps possible considering the zoomed out view looks like a map? Or are they going for an Imperialism style random map where each map is made up of a selection of pre-made regions? :)
