Alan Rickman passed away this past week. I loved his work as an actor. His craft included shakespeare, 'Victorian' England, classic drama, Diehard's villian, two scifi flicks (Galaxy Quest and Dogma), and lastly as Snape at Hogwarts. By Grapnor's hammer, break a leg in the world to come. EDIT: I'm sot supporting his politics - merely that I enjoyed his acting roles.

Any way to minimize windows defender from spying on a win 7 pc? (besides removing it completely?)

Extant - good to excellent. Series was cancelled abruptly so the end-show was forced too quickly and was kinda lame. Orphan Black - best -(only seen season one and two). Very witty dialog. Dark matter - good. Wayward Pines - Ok. Helix - so-so. Second season very quirky and unsettling. Jessica Jones. very good. Bitten - good. Lost Girl - very good.
[quote who="erischild" reply="129" id="3613344"] Why would "a potential newbie to gaming" ever obsess enough about an obscure game feature to start mucking about with .ini files? They're busy tackling a hugely steep learning curve. That option is there in the prefs file only because experienced folk like us might have such passionately stubborn fixations. This is especially true for players new enough to the game that the present system of economy management is the
As you know, I am a big proponent of giving the end user as much control over customizing the game as possible. The wheel was not an issue to me; (as I'm still feeling my way through playing GalCiv3 to figure out how things work). But the principle of maximum customization is important to me and to many others. I am quite happy with your compromise to enable the wheel via an entry in the prefs ini. Years of playing modded Bethsidia games (Elder scrolls / Fallout) h
I've never worked in any software development settings. However, Stardock's CEO has posted a number of times about how his company goes about 'doing' their game development. It includes discussions on these boards. It might be a bit tedious, but if you looked through the posts 'Frogboy' (Stardock CEO's public avatar) has on the various stardock forums, you would probably gain some significant insight into SD's processes. Hope this helps.
Global warming is a myth. Everyone knows that all the energy / heat we have added to the troposphere has zero affect. Correlation does not equal cause. Whatever happens - whats important is that job creators are as free as possible to create jobs. China is the most recent example of the success of business oriented job creators. The rest of the world needs to emulate the Chinese model. Oh, and american cigarette job creators never placed addictive add

I've run into several maps where a forced set up is just plain nonsense. Sd really should put an interface in place where a stack that did not move (or moved 1/2 yada yada) get set up in a decent defensive position. Stacks that move full MP should be placved in a column formation. If stack has sccouts, get beyttter position, etc. As tac st up currenly implemented, set up is a total crap shoot unrelated to a ctuial units present, situation, etc. This is the we
