I'd say stick with it :) I play this game singleplayer only at the moment and I still have a blast. :) The different characters to get into and just having fun in the different arena's is plenty for me atm. Of course, the game would have benefited from an actual campaign with a proper story, and I think it would be great fun to play a campaign with a chosen character where you just hack and slash through lots of enemies.. (something for the future? :) ). But its still plenty to enjoy,

Personally I'm not so charmed by some wizzard dude. That seems too standard to me. The mechanic sort of idea sounds ace to me.. Would love something like that too. :) Cant we just get a fatboy in here? :D He can poop out his own minions.

Interesting stuff.. But I dissagree on the DRM part of you story. The problem is not with the game being downloaded illegally that often. I think that with more restrictive DRM the game would have been cracked and downloaded just as much as it has now. The problem was that Stardock underestimated the number of people trying to use the game, mostly illegal, which caused problems from the get go, worsened by the game being released too early at one place. I suppose you can

[quote who="TheGrubb" reply="9" id="2168721"]I, personally, was about to make a comment about the allied AI is seemingly better than the opposing teams. I just got the game today, I've played though 2 tournaments and about 3 or 4 skirmish games, and I haven't lost a game yet. Mostly, I've just been playing normal difficulty. (haven't tried Hard difficulty yet, but hopfully that will be a challenge.) In summery... despite the fact that I still consider myself learning the ins and ou

I have the same experience, even though on some games the team's AI is doing a fine job, so its not always retarded. Could be a combination of the demigods in the team and the map? That the AI just handles certain demigods better and performs differently depending on the map? On some games it was as said above, pointless to play on past a few minutes in, the enemy AI would already have a massive advantage in experience. I wasnt always on my game though, which of course influen

Hehe, did you actually read the responses? :) I see plenty of possibilities in there anyways. If you ask the question "am I asking to much?", people can actually give an answer you do not have to like.. :) Which demigod did you with play anyways?

What use are favour items if there's still many connection issues? Of course its a feature of the game thats supposed to work, but while they are in the stress of trying to get rid of all connection problems I dont think they worry too much about favour points for those that can actually play.. :) Give them a little rest about that issue and check its consistency when they fixed the connection problems.

Hmm, using speed items and following some other general advice on the Rook, its better now.. :) But for me hard is not easy at the moment.. I suppose the AI could be better at both sides of the line, they seem to stand around uselessly sometimes.. but overall I find them pretty decent. I'm having a blast using that hammer anyways :D

*shrug* With all the *ahum* idiots *ahum* that roam this planet, nothing really suprises us any more.. :) It wasnt all that obvious.. :P Unless people know you I suppose ;)

My experience with the singleplayer stuff is that on normal the tournament is a complete walkover. But on Hard I have yet to win my first game.. from what I see happening mostly because the teammates AI are completely getting their asses kicked. I'm playing the Rook btw. I find the enemy AI doing a decent job, retreating when almost dead and chasing me when I'm almost dead. Its pretty tough to kill another demigod with the rook as its always slower. But playing fou

What really ticked me off last week was the fact that a purchase of Crysis Warhead through steam also came with EA's SecuRom. I actually bought it on Steam because I though that surely, they wouldnt use any protection there as steam is enough protection and annoyance as is. Why would that ever be necessary? I can only play games from Steam when I am logged in or have a valid profile anyways. So next to the authorisation required by Steam I can also only install that game 5 times. So yeah, its

My first impressions are certainly positive. Runs beautifully here on my brand new ATI 4870 :D Only played one game so far as rock, hammering the enemy is fun :D And yeah, if this beta version isnt supposed to be fun.. man.. :) Looking forward to the coming updates. Very impressed with a first beta release here!
