yeah it happens to me on weekends too

Awesome ideas man! I mean a paying customer should do EXACTLY what the majority wants. If they don't like it FUCK THEM they can leave the game we don't need them and stardock doesn't need their money. Hell the game should come FREE with a set of rules taht you have to follow or stardock come to your house and trounce you adn smash your kneecaps. /sarcasm Any more awesome wizdom? We need less forum posters. ASAP!!!!11!!1!lol<
You're doing it wrong.
Hmm but should you keep your priests if you summon clerics etc? or IS it the same exploit? ponder that. I don't have an answer. Though I will say a Sedna with 4 healers is mighty hard to fight.
heh or like that Lashiec guy from last night. He starts screaming at me and Digidiy to 'NOT RUN BACK TO BASE WE'LL LOSE' and 'OAK GET SHIELD' when I've already been shielding our TB when he got spat on. Then 'I DIED CUZ YOU DON'T HAVE SHIELD' ... I said 'oom'. It is nice to have an Oak w/shield to back you up, but you don't rely on it. I might need it myself. :P Meanwhile digi and I are struggling to keep flags capped cuz Lashiec is not helping and is just farming creeps for gold. The
So, we have Oak, Erebus, Sedna and QoT with minions. I know for a fact that an Oak without minions is a weak Oak. Im not
lol wut? try a pent build oak :P after level 10 he's almost unstoppable.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 22That said, GPG says it's quite expensive to make Demigods. I'm willing to pitch in for the first 2 but after that we'll have to see. Make them as payable DLC then. On consoles this is common practice and i think Demigod is perfect for this.
THIS is ruining gaming. Pay-for DLC is evil. I'm happy to pay for a full-blown expansion pack, but the level they have take
Playign a hard tourney should be all you need to get up and running...
Please please add this soon, having to mouse over might not seem liek a bad idea but it might be that second when I needed to interupt a hammer slam etc. Surely there is no good reason to not allow this? The general bar is next to useless.
HAX. j/k well done.
When each priest wave is giving out 300g a pop there is never a good reason to get them with out getting at least angel and cata at the same time. The just feed TOO much. It only takes abotu 8-10 waves with priests to be able to buy say a HoL. The little bit of tower damage you get and the small amount of extra on feild time for your DGs is mitigated by the HUGE amount of gold the other team gains from popping priests like little zits. As Vladesch said, priests are yumm
Hi all, Just a quick suggestion to both new players of DG and people trying out new DG's for the first time. Please, please, please. Don't try to play online multiplayer unless you have given single player a good crack. Personally when I want to try a new DG, I make sure I can win a Hard tournament by a considerable margin before stepping online. This allows me to: Learn what my DG's skills are, which ones I like and which I don't. This means I can work on a bui
Australian proxy. omg this made such a difference to my DG experience last night. Every single game I joined/hosted had players with pings >150 a lot of those players were proxied. Before the new patch these poor buggers would have had +600 ping form bouncing off the US proxy. I can now safely recommend this game to my mates to play.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 1Heart of life has been moved to the artifact shop and its cooldown timer has been double. The effect has been increased. Good change IMO. Still a good item, but double cooldown makes it far less powerful.
Sounds good, but has it increased in cost? The only reason HoL is so great for my oak is cuz it's so cheap.
The European and Australia proxy servers are now used so people who do use proxy end up with better connections than before.
HOLY CRAP! I love you guys!
But this sentance makes no sense, in that this is a purchaseable upgrade. It is like having an item, which gives the other team XP and Gold and gives you +25 DMG only. It is unbalanced, making it outright worthless in the game. The priests heal and attack. You are underestimating them.
pfft preists taste good and are fun to eat. OM NOM NOM NOM.
sigh... my point is the game is already balanced. It becomes unbalanced when new or bad players die.
Interesting guide, I don't play QoT but it's guys like you who annoy the crap outta me in game. Well done :)
what i meant by Lobbies for Pantheon needs clarification i suppose. i don't mean that you should be able to shop between and freely enter and leave lobbies like you can with custom games. the Pantheon match-maker should deposit you and the matched players into a pre-game lobby. it would show what map and mode has been randomly selected and it will show the other players and the
a close game is not a more competitive one. thats the essentially flawed premise in the whole argument. a close game is just one in which the eventual winner was restrained from leveraging an advantage. if its the skilled play of the opponents that causes the restraint than the game was a competitive one. if its a built in mechanic of the game that causes the restraint it was not a more competitive game, it just took longer.

Chris emailed me prior to this post to say that he was taken out of context. For the record, Demigod does not use Impulse for MP. There is no such thing as an Impulse MP feature nor are there plans to make one. For Demigod, GPG developed the net code and Stardock licensed from Raknet the NAT fascilator to help people connect to Demigod. Now, since the launch problems, Stardock made the choice to assign its own
I think you have deep seated emotional issues if you take the 'intent' of people over teh internets seriously. I think you need to see someone about it.
A closer game is one that is more competitive. A soccer match that features the best team versus a group of amateurs is definitely not an interesting, fun, or competitive game. I mean, competition is "A test of skill or ability; a contest:" There is no test in a game that is not close.
now THIS is a flawed metaphor. A skilled and high ranked soccer team EARNS their ladder rank. They don't just play any old
The answer, I think, is that it's a faulty metaphor. An FPS has very little disparity between any given player: a badass and a noob have the same tools at their disposal, and the only difference are the players. Counterstrike can potentially have some differences due to money collection, but I think that difference doesn't significantly affect the gameplay.
Eh? Every player can get the same favour items, every player can play
wow what a cop out. GPG blame stardock? I'm yet to see a GPG staff member on these forums trying to help people out. It also kinda confirms that DG is dead to GPG. A quick money maker to shoot out the door to get some extra funds for SCII? Poor Stardock and poor DG adn poor us. I used to be a huge GPG follower but DG and the 'idiot friendly' direction SupCom 2 is headed in is really putting my off, what are they a mini-EA now? Frogboy, we'd love to see some GPG
