well, if we are able to destroy everything but this damn bacteria you think we may not say destroyed the planet?
Temporarily, but their survival makes possible for earth to return it's former state. Optimistically thinking, of course :)

I find it pretty arrogant to think humanity could destroy life on this planet. I've heard there are bacteria deep inside earth's crust, that could survive an asteroid impact, what hope do we have to sterilize this planet then? We can destroy ourselves, but this planet will go on living. If that happens (hopefully not), i hope the next sapient species has a little more common sense. Or maybe we'll prove that sapient beings are a bad idea, and they'll evolve to some sort of hive-mind thing ;)</

I started computer usage with text based operating system, so i need them visible to survive [e digicons][/e] It just seem starnge not to be able to see them, by that three letter designation (sometimes four) i know what it is, and what i should do with it.

A dyson sphere's outer shell would be about earth orbit away from the star, so few planets would actually fit inside. And the Karos hulk in Homeworld someone mentioned was a destroyed Dyson ring apparently, but what was the Great Derelict? But yes, i'm definetly rooting for giant structure skyboxes [e digicons][/e]

I've no problem with EA, i have several of their games, and don't see myself stop buying them anytime soon. Then again, i'm a freak that actually liked C&C 3 and RA 3, also Mirror's Edge and Dead Space were surprisingly good titles. And SecuRom hasn't caused my system to commit suicide yet either.
3) Minor really. I have a computer ally who every now and then jumps to one of my planets and tells me i'd better look at it cos he's gonna take it? The teams are fixed. I know he can't take it. But when he jumps in with a huge fleet (He's set to unfair) I still double check to make sure i'm not getting humped. He never actually does take my planet just mouths off that he will. If he's fixed as my ally then surely he shouldn't be saying he's going to take my plane

Good thing about Fallout 3 is, that you can bypass GfWL with the perfectly legal Fallout Script Extender, or FOSE, that works even with the Steam version. (It's Oblivion counterpart, OBSE had some trouble, until the folks at Valve patched their Oblvion distribution to allow it to work [e digicons][/e] )

A few propably, but Sins sold very well just on Impulse and retail. Besides, Sins' publisher is Stardock, of course they aren't going to release one their biggest sellers on competing system.

For Advent: Radiance Battleship with the shield ability (forgot the name) uses Animosity, Rapture Battlecruiser uses Vengeance on the Radiance, Progenitor uses Malice on the enemies forced to attack the Radiance. Attacking ships recharge Radiance's anti-matter, radiance uses Cleansing Brilliance, while Progenitor re-uses Malice on the enemies. Advent cap abilites synergise nicely :)

Now that is difficulty increase i'd like to see, unlike having to unload a full assault rifle clip to an enemy's head to kill him [e digicons]:|[/e]
