Neil???
Neil, I have Skinstudio. It looks like my Start Menu button is still not perfectly centered, its still slightly high after forcing it to go to the middle in WB 6.1. Can I adjust this with the non-beta 6.0 release of SKS? I would prefer not to use SKS beta; as it may introduce new problems. I might try SKS beta if I absolutely have to, but I definitely dont want to install yet another software just to download it; a secure FTP/HTTP download would be nice.Could you p

Hi Neil, after upgrading from my registered version of 6.0 (purchased less than 60 days ago) to 6.1, I am being prompted to buy the product again. How do I apply my registration code? Would it correctly accept my registrations code if I uninstall, reboot, run [link="http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/odnt_zapper.exe"]WWW Link[/link], reboot, and install version 6.1? Also, I hate to be a pest. But it looks like there are still a couple of issue related to large QuickLaunch icons. If yo

Yeah Cobra, I realized that the button face color changed those menus. I just couldnt figure out which one was responsible for the white borders. Thanks for explaining. Maybe, there's a button face border color or something...
For one thing, Skype and Firefox both have their own skinning engines - and when software uses its own skinning, if often doesn't work well with WB or SKS.Those menu borders in Skype are controlled, believe it or not, by the button face color. Thanks for responding you guys.. Specifically, its the white borderlines in the menus... not to be confused with the standard popup menus you see in Explorer/My computer or Notepad.... these are menus you would see in Firefox for example or Skype. I'm just not sure where in SKS I can change this.
menu item button (if you mean the seperator lines ) in pop up menus.....
When will there a way to just download the actual setup directly (just like the full release)? I think it might be time to start testing 6.1 release candidates as if they are the full releases. At this stage, they need to be just like the one intended to be on the main Stardock website. Impulse seems like it's intended to have standard Microsoft Windows Stardock app install/uninstall/upgrade process on training wheels ;)

I'm been using this skin I really like. Unfortunately, the Vista User Icon from the Start menu was removed. I would like to put one back that's exactly like Vista's in the easiest way possible. It would be great if there just was an "ON" switch :). Anyway, I have no idea. Could someone please tell me how to do this? I tried looking at other skins to see if I could figure out what was different, but got completely lost. Thanks so much in advance,

Actually the best way to upgrade is to: 1) Uninstall version 6.0. 2) Reboot 3) Run Stardock's clean software removal utility: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/odnt_zapper.exe 4) Download the setup installed for version 6.1 5) Reboot. I dont think the uninstalling an old version vis SDC removes the existing version cleanly; and leaves junk behind. It's a good idea to not leave any traces of an old version when installing a new version so the new version doesn't

Neil (or anyone) I realize this thread focuses on stability mainly; but I would really like to know if any of the limitations below have been addressed: https://forums.stardock.com/310458 Thanks! Michael

Yeah, also noticed this problem too, in Outlook 2007. You can see the various items WB's doesnt skin below. I'm hopeful that with version 6.1, they will fix at least some of those problems. https://forums.stardock.com/310458
