I have just posted the tutorial for the Neotech Gaming http://www.neotechgaming.com RPG. All new members to the site should find it very informative. Not only does it tell you about the game, it also has directions for using the NTG http://www.neotechgaming.com site. Here is the http://www.neotechgaming.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2453 for the tutorial. jlgerre, your monitor is indeed the problem. GC2 is a graphics intensive game, your monitor is not able to handle it. I have a Syncmaster 150MP while playing GC2 the game would pause as if my video card or processor was having trouble keeping up. I later bought a ViewSonic VA912b 8ms gaming monitor and this problem went away. The game runs very smooth now. I looked up the specs on your monitor and it is a 25ms monitor. It doesn't refresh fast enough to keep up. You should get a monitor tht runs

Frookie, I have Win XP and have no problems playing BotF. I really like the game and whole heartedly recommend it. As to should you buy it, I would say that depends on the price. Shop around you might find a cheaper copy. I'm seeing them on Amazon for $60 and up to almost $100. While BotF is a great game, I don't think any game, especially an older one is worth that kind of money. Frookie go on IRC and type /join #thegamingvault and I will talk to you more about the game.

Reveilled, you have some very good ideas and they are well thought out. Perhaps this could be implemented as a mod or optional feature, that way only the people that want the additional restrictions will have them. Personally I think additional rules and restrictions add to the challenge of the game, but there are many who feel such measures would make it less fun. Hopefully Stardock will notice your post and consider your ideas.

Ben, I've tried it in GC1 but never in GC2. The only reason I did it in GC1 was to stop getting cultural victories, that was before you were able to disable them.

Yuk0n, nowhere on the box or Stardocks website or any game reviews has it been said this game is multiplayer. had you done any reading at all before making a purchase you would have known this was only single player. Anytime you buy a game or other software you should carefully read all the features, specs, and system requirements before buying. THen you will save yourself alot of time and money, as well as having the additional bonus of not being stuck with something you either don't wan

NT Jedi, this is really pointless. The game has only been out a few months, and modding is not fully integrated yet. There is alot of talk about creating mods, and people are even forming groups to work on mods. Your assumption that people that play single player will not get together in groups is erroneous. In just the short time this game has been out there are already groups forming. There are alot of multiplayer games that are no longer played and multiplayer itself is directly responsible f

NT Jedi, first of all I do realize how many multiplayer games are out there. If you had actually read my post instead of looking at ways to pick it apart you would have noticed I said there are not many games that cater to solitary gamers. I also said I can understand why people would want to play with family and friends. As far as finding family and friends to play with, sure you may be able to find people that are willing to play the same game for months, but how many games will you end up pla

Faery all you need is a program that lets you do IRC. Your dad may already have one. If your dad is using Firefox you could install something into the browser for IRC and he would probably never know.
