Just trying to download the game onto my laptop while I wait for the release. Base game installed no problem, however the multimedia and the tutorials give me a validation failure. Any ideas? EDIT: Nevermind...seems your updating stuff....

Having also struggled to like MOO3, and promptly threw it out the window and drove over the disks with a truck, I tried GalCiv1 after that experience. What a breath of fresh air. From all accounts, GalCiv2 looks to improve on everything in GalCiv1, without compromising what made the game fun. I pre-ordered it also. Amazingly, their reasons for not doing at midnight make a lot of sense, despite the agony it might cause people. If something goes horribly awry, at least they'll be awake and around to fix it, as opposed to asleep and not around when the apocalypse comes.
