Reading through that morass of hatred, envy, and deliquency was like watching a car wreck. It's wrong to gawk but it's hard to look away. Maybe it is due to my gender but I must pose this question; why are you even dignifying them with a response? Perhaps it would be instructive to pose it a different way. I started using WinStyles when it went 1.0 on Object Desktop. It is what I use now to control everything. My only critical remark on it would be that it should have previews more easily accessible.

I would like to see WindowBlinds skin the spinner controls. That really sticks out on my machine. I think too much attention is spent on Windows XP. How many software-buying people have Windows XP right now versus the warez people? It appears from my vantage point that Stardock gets too worried about satisfying the hacker crowd and not enough on the jane and joe user crowd.

I've never made a skin but this contest sounds like a lot of fun and I have started toying with skinstudio. This will be my first skin and it won't be pretty. But I'm going to try. Who should I represent? Since i'm not allowed to rep wc, which site shoudl i?
