Why can't the police simply do their job in a town of 500 people? How difficult can that be? Sounds like a complete waste of money.

Good article Scatter... "We also failed to evaluate the repercussions that were to ensue from this misadventure." That is a real understatement! They either failed to evaluate them or they just didn't care. I'm not sure which one is worse.
Dr. Guy: "Today's liberals do no fight for truth and justice, but to preserve their power base to the exclusion of the good for their power base." I think the conservatives are just as guilty of this...don't you agree? They are no more noble or moral than any other current politician. This whole issue over the Declaration of Independence is just stupid. Every kid should be able to read it.
Welcome to JU Dan! Hope to see you around my blog as well...
I've been wondering when the U.K. was going to rule on this and they correctly applied the EU Convention on Human Rights. The convention has no legal effect on those who are not signatories to the convention so it doesn't have any effect on U.S. conduct...again, the U.K. got it right. Glad you posted this Paul.
Evolution is a scientific theory and is non-religious based. There is no cause of action from which to sue and that's why no one has done it. It's a loser case from the git-go.
Are you really leaving Champus? Sorry to see you go if you are. A word of advice: Don't forget to grease down your head before going through doorways!
If you believe in "free markets" then there should be no caps and no efforts to control player's salaries. When people get sick of it they will stop going to games and stop watching...then the salaries as well as the price of the tickets will come down. On the other hand, many cities in the U.S. pay for new stadiums with tax dollars. They say it creates jobs but that is debatable...construction jobs in the beginning are high paying but when the stad

COL Gene: "Again, when these major systems begain to fail, you and people like you will be looking for someone to blame." yeah, and they will probably put the blame on all the homos in the U.S. since they are the ones responsible for the end of society as we know it?

"Saudi Arabia is rapidly becoming a safe haven for Islamic Militants of every variety." Saudi Arabia has always been a safe haven for Islamic militants but their answer to the problem was to export them to Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation. It has now come back to bite them and the Saudi Royals' delicate control over their country is being threatened by the same terrorsts they actively and financially supported. The Saudis also finan
"A fundamentalist would deny this, since fundamentalism is antihistorical: it believes that Abraham, Moses and the later prophets all experienced their God in exactly the same way as people do today." If this is true, I would like to know the last time they actually saw a burning bush or last time God personally asked them to sacrifice their first-born son? Dr. Guy: "IN
BriRyJor : "It needs to be said, for the sake of this conversation that comparing gays to the historical plights of blacks and jews is totally bogus. These people have suffered through genocide, slavery, and sufferage. Gays definitely are not being marched to the gas chamber." You need to get a history lesson...gays were in fact rounded up, tortured, and subjected to medical experimention by the Nazis. I have written extensively on this subje
yeah, sorry Col. Gene...I try to make sure that I am not posting articles that are similar to other bloggers but I think the three of us posted almost at the same time. "It is time that the President of the United States and the Secretary of Defense be made to explain why they chose to go to war without the necessary equipment and manpower." Exactly, instead of "passing the buck" all of the time. I find this constant shell game of n
Solnac: "that Constitution thingy. Look it up." Excellent suggestion.
Solnac....We just did it again! Posted similar articles...and I think we posted them almost exactly at the same time! I think I am going to start specifically checking your blog before posting an article of my own...
The "no taunting rules" are just stupid... I don't know why the NFL is so hell-bent on trying to sterilize the game.
Hey, Paul..just popping by to see how you've been because I haven't seen or heard from you in a while! Hope all is well!
blogic...haven't seen you around lately so I thought I'd pop in and see how you are doing? Have you left us?
Solnac...I just posted an article based on this story. Sorry...I didn't see your post before I posted mine. Just wanted to let you know that I wasn't trying to "step on" your article's toes!
Helix the II: "As for faith..the Bible..hm.. I feel it is open to interpretation. I do believe it is a guideline to follow, a roadmap if you will..and that you create heaven or hell based on how you live your life. Yeah, I've been branded a heretic. Your faith or lack of faith has no bearing on my life in any form. A heavy believer such as preacherman has his right to believe as strongly as he desires. Same with Philomedy has the right to question
~Molly: "I agree, and I gave you an insightful." Thank you Molly...I humbly accept.
Deleted duplicate post...sorry!
preacherman: "God turns them over to a reprobate mind- God gives them up unto vile affections: for even thir womwen did change the natural use into that which is against nature, and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiveing in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." I believe you are quoting Romans 1:26 but
