And of course a cow soundpackage to go with it. SOUNDS cool but....How many sounds can a cow make? And from which end of the cow are we talking about. Transparency is the big thing now. I would like to see an invisible skin.

'the best' is not necessarily the one you personally like or want to use. So true. Knot Vista is my favorite skin of all time. Its just not that usable. ( no offense I.R.) So it cant be the best. Shot me I guess but I gotta go with "Royale". And no, I don't use it.

Of course skinning is unnecessary Agreed. I spend most of my working day looking at 3 Dell computers using Windows classic theme and some really bad graphics from a third party program. Six years ago I ran the same plants in DOS. Its so nice to come home and see something nice on the screen. Unnecessary, but nice.

HOME 1. 1980x1050 2. 1280x1024 3. 1024x768 4. laptop 1280x800 5. Drawing table 1024x768 WORK All three 1280x1024 I don't imagine we are helping you find the common resolution here. Lets face it, most people involved in customizing computers are Geeks. We cant just settle for one monitor.

Margins might be out of place. Pumakitten has a great set of tuts here. WWW Link Think I read something about the margins leaving white lines. Wish I could help you more but I am still trying to make a skin myself. Good luck.

Or some way of changing to Mini and bar modes.. like the other players have Xion can do this, and even does with the default skin. You are right HG, skinners should include this option if Xion is to compete with other players. Let's not forget that the best thing about Xion is that it is lightweight. (And very easy to skin).

but it is yet another sign that the PC manufacturing world is still a cut-throat business. Is there a business that's not cut-throat? My Gateway is the first LARGE computer that I have owed.
