It stings when the people that do the actual work don't get credited doesn't it? That was a deliberatly provocative comment, and one which will very likely push this thread off course and into the usual flame war. Jeff runs a business, not a charity. I know from experience he pays his employee's very well for their work. He's out to provide an en

Will it leave little 'presents' all over the desktop?...
Wouldn't it be better to have someone judge the skins? Using download counts puts later uploaders at a disadvantage.
Ditto on the premium suites here too. I think another one or two would be good.
That's a name I had forgotten about. Been about 5 years since I spoke to Elwin. Wonder what he's up to.
In the long run, considering how popular TSF's skins are, the external linking helps save some of WC's bandwidth too. So it's not a bad thing.
I think both of those are long gone now.
I found it very dull. It's too repetitive. you're in your cell, then you go out shoot a ship, then you're in your cell, then you go out shoot a ship, etc etc..
Not that I'm criticising your choice. I freely admit though that I'm always out to convert people
I did not want to use it either. I paid and then found out they wanted a program with a registry entry on my pc first. Not the most forthright company despite their intentions. I did load it and used it to download my software then immediatly uninstalled it and deleted all trace from my registry. Seems comparable to buying a car every time you w
I've seen screenshots of DX and Icon Packager doing their stuff on Vista. I think there's an internal build of Wb that runs on Vista too.
Uh-oh, accident waiting to happen. Locked.
WINKEY+D minimises everything to desktop. It's not a flaw in DX, it's Windows doing what it's told. If you use WINKEY+M instead, it will minimise all open windows, and should allow your objects to remain on the desk.
What are the 4 that are listed?
WB config reads the category from the WB UIS file, if the author has specified a category in it. You can manually add them yourself if you have Skinstudio.
One thing to watch out for, if you plan on having the PC and Mac both hooked up to the KVM, is that sometimes Macs tend to ignore certain KVM's, and think that there's no monitor attatched. I think you might have to do a bit of checking before purchase to make sure it will work ok.
The folder icons aren't changed by other program. You need something like IconPackager for that.
Actualy, I stand corrected, it's the 'analyze' tab, not validation after all. That one is the one you're after.
If you click on the validation tab, it'll list any errors or erronious code in the skin, and you'll be able to see there what's causing problems.
And it's a damned addictive game too.
I think you posted the wrong link.
Anyone try out the Momo Steering Wheel/Pedal Setup? I'm trying to "steer" my son to the right brand and could use some input. Is there a system that can do double duty? I love Gran Tourismo(s), NFS(s) TOCA 2 on the PS2 and it would be great to have one that runs on the puter and PS2. If you don't mind shelling out a fair few bucks, the Logitec
You seen Simbin's next offering yet, Paul? The GT Legends one. Looks excellent.
It's one of the many many many many many many many many InspiratVistahornOSX clones out there. That one looks like it might be an MSstyle.
What does the security prompt do?
