Flame Warriors: What kind are you?

To those about to argue, I salute you.

After reading a recent entry and set of comments by Texas Wahine, I was reminded of a site I used to visit a long time ago called Flame Warriors. I also made me think about what kind of warriors we have floating around here.

Granted, it is a list that was developed for Usenet groups, but it still has a lot of relevance to this community as well.

Personally, I think I have sort of become a Big Cat, because as the classification says, "Big Cat would rather not fight...he enjoys peacefully observing forum conversations and laconically participates when the moods strikes. He playfully chases interesting threads...". And to think, I used to be a much more "capable" warrior at one time.

So why don't you go through the types at the site and figure out who you are. I am sure you will see a lot of friends and enemies while you are there.

I quite love that site. I have a hard time putting myself in one of those, but much to my surprise, a friend from another forum characterized me as "Ent". I was quite flattered.

I know users who fall into almost every one of those categories. The closest one I could identify myself with, I guess, would be Cyber Sister.

I have allowed my job to bleed through here. But I read a post by I forget now who, and decided I would just post more rants, and not rant in comments.

Cool site, History! I love it. The illustrations were great, too.

I think at different times I might be an Archivist, a Cyber Sister, Ego, or a Fragile Femme.

IT would be much funnier if OTHER people characterized us.

Who said you couldn't

Ok, I am a Rottweiler puppy as well.  What do you see us as?

Well, you have a bit of the "capitalista" in you too, though there are much more prevalent ones around here.

Funny thing is, I saw a sketch that LOOKED like someone I know. That was messed up.

I'd probably go with "Big Cat," myself. But I liked this description: "Mediocrity is Lamer's salient characteristic, yet the word "mediocre" seems inadequate to fully encompass the crushing dullness of his personality."

Crushing dullness. Excellent.
