Bug in Arrow theme

(or is this someone's bright idea of a feature??)

What's up with the fugly cyan box around the logoff and shutdown buttons when you hover over them? See here for an example:

Is there any way I can make that look all nice and purdy like the menu items in the programs and places lists do when you hover over them?

You can add a hover bitmap, but this will prevent those icons changing state (I.e. switching to colour) on mouseover.

It's not a 'bug', it's the designers choice. As Neil points out, if you use a background image, then the icons lose the mouseover state, so the skinner has to decide which way to take it.

The highlight color can be changed in SkinStudio but the buttons are bordered with the same color when selected so would not look much better. You could change color and edit the button images.

That would seem to me to be a deficiency in WB - why not add a feature to enable those buttons in the start panel to have a rollover state but still keep the transaprent background?  Right now, it's ugly as hell and obviously does not look as intended.
