Jayna turned 6 months old on Tuesday. I can'y believe my baby is growing up so fast! For her "half-birthday" her daddy and I took her to a kids concert at an indoor park, and we had dinner with her Grandparents and Aunt Jessica. Her Grandma Cherly even baked Jayna her own sweet potatoe. (Jayna's FAVORITE)
She is growing by leaps and bounds. We got for her half year check up in a few weeks and I am so curious to see how much she has grown. She is learning new things all the time. She can get around by rolling all the way across the room, which she does A LOT. She keeps us on our toes! She is starting to sit by herself for short periods of time, such a big girl!
She had some new foods added to her diet which until a few weeks ago consisted only of "mama milk". Bananas, pears and rice ceareal have not been a hit, but she LOVES sweet potatoes! We are trying to introduce some other foods, but she seems most happy nursing, so she stays near mom!
She is such a little firecracker. She has so much personality! She keeps me entertained all day with her sweet giggles, blowing rasperries and games of peek-a-boo. We are working on baby signs right now, so I look foward to seeing her start signing to us. She is so vocal! Our house is so much noisier. She babbles all day long. She is so fun and doesn't seem to mind when mom covers her in kisses all day long!
