A little help, please

I have tried to make a curxp trail for a new cursor set that I am in the middle of making, and I cannot get the software to recognize my .png file for the cursor trail. Can you help? I tried putting it in my Trails file, and that did not work

. Then I tried putting it one folder higher, and that did not work

. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP?
