THIS MAN HAS ALWAYS PROCLAIMED HIS INNOCENCE (REMEMBER THE HURRICANE). BEFORE YOU CONDEMN A MAN YOU MUST STUDY HIS WORK. THIS MAN HAS HAD TIME TO GROW AND REFLECT FROM HIS PAST LIFE, CLEARLY REFLECTED IN HIS LITERATURE. HE HAS A LOT OF LIGHT TO GIVE TO THOSE WHO ARE IN THE SAME POSITION AND ENVIRONMENT THAT HE HAS COME FROM. A PERSON LIVES THROUGH THEIR WORK REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY ARE PHYSICALLY ALIVE OR NOT. IF HE CAN TOUCH PEOPLE AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS, WHICH HE IS DOING, THEN WHY END A LIFE THAT HAS SO MUCH MORE TO GIVE. TO MANY WANT BLOOD FOR BLOOD AND ARE VERY BLOOD THIRSTY, IT'S NOT ABOUT GIVING THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT, UNLESS IT COINCIDES WITH WHAT THEY NEED. IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE PEOPLE WHO HE WAS "CONVICTED FOR KILLING" AND ALL THOSE WHO HAVE HAD THEIR LIVES SNATCHED AWAY IN THE SAME MANNER, LET HIM CONTINUE TO REACH OUT WITH BETTER SOLUTIONS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE SELF FULFILLING PROPHECY THAT THEY ARE CONVICTED FROM THE WOMB. Hasn't anyone told you that it's incredibly rude to 'shout' at someone? Leaving your caps lock on is considered shouting, and I'd prefer if you didn't do that on my blog. Do it again, and I'll delete your comments and blacklist you.

As for your stance - I really don't give a rat's behind what he did whilst incarcerated. Fact of the matter is he was found guilty of four first-degree murders and was sentenced to die for them. That sentence isn't going to change just because he's claiming to be reformed....which I have serious doubts about anyway. His book that he wrote? He dedicated that to another gang leader. What does that say to you about his support of violence and gang activity? Because it telle me that he might not have been quite as reformed and he claimed to be.

You seem to have a lot of rage in you. Fair enough if you find caps lock offensive then I'll turn it off. If you had a little more patience you’d realise that I meant no offense by the way my words were presented, the important thing was the content. The fact that you don't give a rats about what he did whilst incarcerated says a lot about the weight of your own opinion. The question is why would he dedicate one of his books to a gang leader and have you read any of his books to have the understanding to comment on them.

hopefully more comes out of his execution than attempting to quench the unquenchable vengence. At least his words live on through his work

Things are not what they may first seem. Read it and you might understand what i'm saying. people are too rushy rushy, give things a little bit of time and you will be rewarded with understanding. This blog is not for deaf ears. If you are not willing to take the time to understand what is being written then this isn't for you.

There is a rule that undermines all yours. it's called freedom of speech. and if my words fall on deaf ears so be it.

Read the title, read the text, find peace within yourself and understanding will surely follow.

Do you think i'm looking to tickle peoples ears? You my friend have no manners, which shows me that you haven't a strong moral compass. If you don't have a good sense of what is wrong and right your decision making will always be flawed. People don't listen to you because you're right people listen to you because they think everyone else thinks that you're right. Stop trying to fit into a pigeon hole and start thinking beyond the box. As long as people are reading my material people are thinking, as long as people are thinking my job is done.

You can say what you want, but if it is posted to the forums (instead of only to your blog) it will be moderated.  If it doesn't fit the rules, then it will be taken off the forums, and you will be warned.  There is no "free speech" here.  It's a privately owned site, as you already know.

It's easy for a guy in the UK to talk about gang violence in the US.  How about you go "talk to" the crips and see how far that gets you with the whole "peace" thing?  I have a feeling it won't get you far.

If he truly was redeemed and believed in god, why should anyone care that he was executed?  Him being redeemed to the point of being allowed in society was questioned.  What was supposed to happen to him?  Should the tax payers keep paying for him to live?  If he couldn't be allowed back into society, what sort of life is that, and how is that "right".  He was put on fair trial, he was found guilty and he was sentenced to death.  What is the point of a punishment if it isn't followed through?  What example does that give to the other murderers.  Surely, you being from a country that mocks our murder rates has to see the flip side to this, don't you?

Sorry I was under the impression that you can freely speak your opinions here. This is more of a community than a place to debate (people seem very clicky). My argument wasn't about what I can do, it's about what Tookie is doing even beyond his grave.

To wish a man dead clouds good judgement and dulls the soul (and should be avoided at all cost, to many people are doing it) Life is not about good and evil it is about seeing and not seeing if you can't see with understanding then you will not be able to see the dangers that lie ahead, and you will fall victim to your own blindless (ignorance).

All I said was that I don’t think it was professional for the Administrator to disclose where her information tells her I am. How on earth is that admin abuse?

My message to little_whip is that every word I write is with purpose and if you could use a little common sense and read between the lines it may become clear to you that just because “information” might tell her (admin), where I am, it doesn’t necessarily mean that this is the country that I am originally from.

Next time you should read without preconceived ideas of a person and you might get what they’re saying without having to be corrected.

What's happening now is all the gang members involved since tookie founded the gang are still involved with crime and murder and misery and are causing others and others and others..... They are still killing and maiming in a never-ending circle such as when you throw a stone in a pond. You can never stop the ripple. You might cause small parts of it to stop but what you created will go on no matter what amends you might make or how many books you might write. The ripple damage is permanent and far outweighs any regrets or attempts to make amends for it. Just my two cents worth. Dead and deservedly so.
