Review repository

http://progged.blogspot.com
My brother and I have decided to work together on a music blog. It will be a repository of sorts for reviews, rants and raves about anything musical we desire. I know that some here enjoy music, and may find it remotely interesting, so I will be linking here when there is an update, but I won't be cross-posting the reviews. I may cross post articles, but that will be about it.

So, to start, we have a new review up. The album is "Ocatvarium" by Dream Theater. Check it out here

It's about time. You know wayyy too much about 80's metal to keep it to yourself Doc.

Great, another blog for me to follow. ;~D

Does this mean you won't ensure that Dream Theater is mentioned on my music articles (actually, I hope not.. ;~D ).

From the looks of things, I'm way behind in reading the articles now!! I'm expecting more than just one little victory out of you on this one. ;~D

Fine, fine, no Dream Theater mentioned! Actually, if you read my review of their latest, you will see that I have a real love/hate relationship with them. It is interesting.

Strong work, strong work.

I can dig that, I think they are great musicians, but much like Yngwie Malmsteen, their "You love us because we're so great" attitudes overshadow their talent.

Often it does for me as well. They act like they are the only great prog metal band out there. Truth is, there are a lot of other bands that are easily as good, if not better than them.

And don't even get me started on Malmsteen. I just finished a review in which I pretty much trashed him.
