How much is YOUR blog worth?

-or- so where can I sell it?

I found this while surfing earlier tonight and thought it was interesting. Now, I have no idea how these figures are calculated. But hey, have fun with it.

My blog is worth $1,129.08.

Huh...I got a "zero." That'll knock me off of my horse. Maybe I'll try my other blog.

Here is mine... yeah, I have no idea what their criteria is, but apparently I register quite highly in their eyes.

Wow! The weird thing is, if I put your blog's URL in there, it doesn't give me the same number. Odd, but hey, that rocks man.

Jamie:

That is part of the reason I think it is a bit odd. Most of the biggest players here show up as $0.00 when I put them in, so I have zero idea what the algorithm is.

Stanton:

Now, see, if I put yours in there, I end up with the same number as mine. I think the thing is a little wonky.

It says my blog is worth $17,500.74.

How do I collect?? ;~D

Doh! LW's post got eaten by the server gnomes!

Better go beat them a few times.

I did the same though, seems like it was only around $30,000. I think the stupid thing just randomly generates numbers.

Could it be that this is a site that is phishing for blog addresses to post crap in the "comments" sections?
Hmm, could be. Though Technorati is a very reputable Blog indexing service, so I don't see them being involved, and I would think they would put a stop to their trademark being used fraudulently. If we all end up with spam comments from this, you may burn me at the stake. I will not argue.

My blog here was worth zip, zilch, nothing. My personal site/domain came in around $530

Seems kinda silly.

It uses AOL intelligence...do I really need to say more?

Considering that Frogboy's is showing "$0...can we believe anything that it says?

Heh, when I saw what mine was listed as, I instantly put in Brad's blogs to see how miniscule I was in comparison. When they popped up as $0.00, I knew something was amiss.

Has he registered his individual blog sites there though?

I was wondering if that made the difference. Perhaps. . .

My JU Blog is worth $0.00

Hah, yep, it is all messed up. In that case, I want to be able to make up how much my blog is worth.

Make it $1,457,863.  Sounds like a good number to me!

I got $0.00 on mine as well. Now I don't feel so bad ($524 on my other site, but considering there are less than 80 articles there, that's at least a more sensible figure).

like others here, mine came up as NADA, a big nothing, zippo.
And once again I am reminded how much we all want and need validation, even those of
us that are secure, self-confident, on top of the world.
And those like me that long for validation of our existence......

Count me into the zero, zip club too...
