Problems with Tile windows and *some* WB skins?

Tile windows - sometimes I wonder how I ever lived without them! It's the only thing I really use WFx for.

Lately, I've noticed that some WB skins (mostly for WB5 beta, it seems) don't allow the middle-button to work for making a tile - I'd love if there were an override for this. But either way, I can still check the option for using Shift-Minimize, or even overriding a normal minimize button click.

However - on at least several skins (DogmaX4 and 5imple Alpha, for example), this causes problems. When the window becomes tiled, the left 2/3 of my desktop background and icons shift up about an inch, and the tile itself is a bit corrupted - right-clicking the desktop and selecting "Refresh" fixes it.

Furthermore, restoring the tile also shows a partially corrupted window - mainly the upper-left area, where the tile used to be on the desktop.

I have some screen shots demonstrating this (By the way, ever take a screen shot of a multiple-display setup? Funky... I cropped off the other desktops):

Before
After making a tile
After restoring the tile

It's been doing this for a while (again, not with ALL skins), and I've just been waiting for a fix, but maybe it's not a known problem?

Taking screenshots on a multiple monitor display is interesting I must admit...though It's usually easier if you hold "Alt" while pressing "Print Scrn" as this will only take a screenshot of the currently active window. (unfortunately since your problem involved more than just the window, you had to wade through the graphic; this is what Photoshop's "Navigator" is for )

I'm not sure whether it's a known issue, but I do know WindowFX is currently not 100% compatible with WindowBlinds 5 Beta.  I'm forwarding this post to the development team. Thanks for your feedback!

Yep - I do a lot more Alt-PrtScrn's than regular PrtScrn's... The first time I did it and pasted into ACDSee, I thought something was corrupted Actually, the hardest part was cleaning up my damn desktop a bit and closing about 50 other windows first, to give the (false) impression that I was well-organized...

As for Photoshop - I may very well be the only guy on Earth without an illegal (or legal even, if there actually ARE any of those) copy of Photoshop - everything I own (except maybe a FEW MP3s) is 100% legit. Even my WinZip is registered!

I had read about WFX not being 100% in sync with WB5, but this seemed to be a per-skin thing, not a "never works with WB5" thing, so I figured I'd throw those up there in case this was different than the already-known issues. Hopefully it helps...

Keep up the great work!
