You can just take the bus,then the train,then maybe a fairy boat,then an aeroplane....in severe situations you might need a spacectafy too! Just kidding scorpio logic... E-mail as already said is the best way. Also via MSN or Yahoo or any other messenger if you know the author...

Hey, I know of somebody who has a couple of redundant carrier pigeons that could use the work ....if that's of any help....ie: the net's down and the snow's too deep for snail mail to get through....it'd be quids cheaper than the airfare

What would be the best way to go about getting persmission from someone to whom a skin belongs, that I might have ported?

well i can say, hunting them down and sitting on their porch singing showtunes while wearing a tutu, is prolly not the best way...
but emailing them and hoping like heck ya get a "yes" .. is prolly the best way

So long as they're not too short.....if that's what it takes to get the job done, though when the matching ballet shoes cause blisters, I can imagine there'll be regrets for not having the feast instead.
