Well, it appears I’ve been blacklisted for the first time. What for, you wonder? For calling someone a liar. Was it for good reason? You be the judge.

Drmiler stated that I said something I clearly did not. He/She stated on a post "You say Libby did something so heinious that he deserves to be in jail." I never stated my opinion regarding what Libby’s punishment should be if he’s found guilty. In fact, I said "I really don't think Scooter will end up getting a whole lot worse than Berger did. I wouldn't even rule out Bush giving him a pardon if he's convicted." Nowhere have I ever said that Libby should go to jail. So I called him/her a liar and asked to be shown where I made such a claim. Oh wait, I also said that he/she is "King Of All Liars".

The response I received was this "Number one it ain't smart to go on someone else's blog, belittle their point and then call them a liar to boot. I will not delete your post. But you, yourself? Consider yourself gone jerk-off!"

It should be noted that the title of the post was "Serious Question for ALL U.S. dems and liberals. If you make a post like this shouldn’t you be prepared to have people disagree with you?

I’ll admit that I’m fairly new to the blogging scene, so if you look over this particular thread and see that I somehow was out of bounds, I’d like to know about it. I can take criticism, I just can't take dishonesty.

I don’t really mind not being able to comment on this person’s articles, they’re mostly mindless blather anyways, I’m just trying to learn my way around here. I will admit that I will miss aggravating this person though…

There is a MAJOR difference between saying "I NEVER said that, show me otherwise!" and saying "Congratulations! You are now officially King Of All Liars! " This is a direct quote from you.

I was lumping you in with all the rest of the left and "most" of them are calling for Rove/Libby's head. So for that, I'm sorry. That being said you "still" don't come to a persons blog and say what you said with impunity! It's part of the freedom of choice. You are free to do what you want, when you want and how you want. But on the other hand you "must" be willing to pay the consequences. You also should pay some attention to who's writing what.


Libby wasn't indicted for "outing" this CIA employee (not covert).


It appears that you truly do not have a good grasp on the english language. I did not say anywhere that Libby was indicted for outing anyone. I said he is alleged to have exposed a CIA employee. I did not say she was covert, nor did I say he was indicted for that. There is a lot of evidence that he identified a CIA employee to reporter(s) that they did not previously know to be a CIA employee. Whether or not that's a crime is not the point I was making.

You say Libby did something so heinious that he deserves to be in jail.

Why are you so hostile towards truth and honesty?

You don't have any idea what document(s) Berger took. Yes, they were classified...he's admitted that, but you can't make an honest case that shredding documents is as "heinous" (your word, not mine) as giving classified information to reporters. He may not have violated the law in question regarding outing a covert operative, but he most certainly gave them information that was classified.

This was directed to me. However the" indicted for outing" statement was NOT mine. It was "Island Dog".

Okay, I read the thread in question. I think you were out of line with the "officially King Of All Liars" response.

A simple "No I don't think that..." would have sufficed.

I mean king of ALL liars? Moreso than the nazis at Nuremberg? Moreso than "I never had sexual relations with that woman -- Ms. Lewinsky"? Moreso than "You are... King Of All Liars"?

It's not only inaccurate, it's like seeing someone unwittingly park in your space and aiming a nuke at their sedan.

It's also fairly bad form to go start an article continuing your unjust accusation of "He's a LIAR!!!!!"

Well, I meant King Of All Liars around here, not in all the world. I'm sure there are people somewhere you lie more than you do. I'll be more specific next time.

To say that you meant "most" of the left when you said YOU is laughable, but I guess I'll take your word for it. Perhaps you should be more specific in the future also.

If you think that DrM is the King Of All Liars here at JU then you aint been around these here parts very long, have you? I've been here close to 2 years, and I know 2 or 3 people who deserve that title WAY more than DrM does. One person here lied about having a doctorate and an arabian wife, then when he got caught he lied again....and again...and again. Then there was this Indianb 'chick' who posted pictures of a porn star and claimed they were of her and who wrote reams of articles about her poreferred masturbation methods. Turns out she wasn't as porn star, and we still to this day have doubts that she was even female.

So, DrM isn't the King Of Liars here at JU. That crown is wedged firmly on someone else's head.
