Your favourite web browser?

Your favourite web browser?

I don't know, I've heard so much bad about IE6 but I've been using IE since I got my first internet connection (36.6k ) about 10 years ago. Well it was Netscape back then but just for a moment before I started IE. I've tried Opera and MoZilla but I didn't see much deviation in terms of performance and stability, so I'm just wondering what you guys have to say.

[On a side note, I'm looking for a central email software that can handle many accounts at once (those POP3 stuff) Yahoo! used to have that feature, but it was taken away I think. Microsoft Outlook doesn't work. Any ideas?]

Shudders at incredimail users*

hee-hee!

Julian, glad to help. If you look through the FF extensions, there is a Gmail notifier somewhere.

Opera has alot of the same features but the ads annoy me

That was once upon a time...
The full version of Opera can now be downloaded (without any pesky adds) at www.opera.com.
It's totally FREE!

Yea, I will have to say I used Opera, but never made it default, and am still using Firefox

I mainly use Firefox for my browsing. When I have to go to Wincustomize I use either IE or Maxthon. I use Outlook 2003 for my mail. I tried Thunderbird, but it's just not enough for me. However I have installed Thunderbird on all our computers at work. On my Mac, I switch between Safari and Firefox.

In this day and age how can anyone just have 1 favorite browser? I dual it with Opera and Firefox. I'm also on the Flock beta team and anxiously awaiting that soon. As far as email.. Gotta go old school with Outlook 2003. But Thunderbird and a couple others are nice too. All depends on the functionality and features you want at that particular time you use them. Good concept to remember for anything

A couple of days off with Thunderbird and I must say it's great. No more signing in, no more www's to type. Just connect and Thunderbird.

I'm still trying out the features in FF though, and I just got Opera a while ago.
I'm gonna upload a screenshot of my desktop soon. Have a look!

And again, thanks for all the invaluable information and ideas. Have a nice day!
