collect tea pots

So did my sister, until one year for her birthday I got her a HUGE one from an army officers mess room....and when I say huge, it took up around half her small dining table and I guess about 10 boils of the kettle to fill it. She still has her collection, but we are all forbidden to get her any more because they were getting weirder and weirder, she said. The one I got her no longer serves as a tea pot, these days it has an indoor plant sprouting out of it.

My most recent one is from Austria, a friend brought it back to me!!! I won't be able to collect many more, the china cabinet they are in, is getting very full! Then I will stop!
You, should be nicer to your sister, get her one, YOU KNOW, she would love!

I made a booboo when I updated my desktop... I'll get the other one back soon.

6:20 pm here (18:20). That means it's time for a beer. Anyone?

Here, just right for the blues, may go down to the "Noodle" and listen to live blues! But not till 9pm!

Love a beer, been too long, I can't so I won't, you all have one for me!

I admire your determination, Nicked Blade. Quitting smoking was one of the hardest things I ever did, but now I am so happy that I did.

In the words of JamMeister33,
"It's all in the delay."

BTW,
Have I ever mentioned that I happen
to have a photographic memory.

I was told that for many years of my life, then I got too busy and hit "40" and all of a sudden I can't find it anymore, no joke, it's just not like it was, but I remember very very well and fyi: I hear extrememly well.... Long story!
Congrats on the Photographic memory; I'm pee green with envy!

With a 100+ in the collection as it is, and my prior contribution, it would have to be 9 carat gold or she might throw it at me. Can't provide a pic, but to give an idea of just how big this tea pot is, it was originally on a cradle like stand and was tilted rather than lifted to pour. I now live 3000 miles away, but at last sight, the plant sturdily growing out of it was an indoor palm tree that almost reached the ceiling.

I too have a photographic memory .. unfortunately im out of film.

Me too, and mine only had 8 exposures to begin with.
I can almost hear Iben doing a Jim Steinman from 'Love and Death and the American Guitar' "I REMEMBER EVERYTHING, I remember everything as though it were yesterday......" Good on ya' Iben....I remember everything too, 'cept where I stored it all

teapot, ey? so.. how does the rest of the SD team look like?

*weird mental images of a dinner-party*

I think having a great memory is a gift. Not all have this gift, we still manage through life, but not as well as those who can remember everything, at this point I am not sure I want to remember everything...

Isn't it weird that we have so much in our pc's (redundant back ups) and have to run a search to find it?

A funny bit of trivia.
Seems I don't use the search funtion
on my computer,
I keep the main registry in the soft drive.

I have a little tea pot.
It will go 155 MPH.
I only put premium tea in it,
and I like the way it handles.
