Of all the summer slam pay per view events the currently concluded event of 2005 was the horrible most, it clearly shows how wwe is declining. There are no major stars in it, there were no crowd pullers [if at all one U can say Cena alone], and no technical wrestlers.
The matches which were said to be the highlight of the event like Batista vs. JBL didnot even live upto 1% of expectation, both of them wrestled like b class wrestlers, Jericho vs. Cena was ok but again nothing to entertain the crowd except for the last few seconds when Y2J had his submission move locked on Cena.
Hogan vs. Hbk was the only entertainer of the full event but again both of them look to old to entertain fans were modernised wrestling rules. Anyhow oldies proved they can entertain crowd at their age compared to b class wrestlers competing for the championships.
if this is the case wwe will soon lose its market, tv ratings and might bring a major downfall of the company, indeed their state is more panicking than what they think.
