I know that I have been confined to my blog. I can assume it is for the points situation. I have emailed a couple of people to try and understand why, after telling on myself privately and publicly, I got confined.

I am not complaining. I know what I did was wrong. I don't, however, think that I made my motives a secret. My intentions all along were to prove a point. The system was and still is easily manipulated without using any special tools outside of what is already on the site. I could once again prove it but I would be violating the TOS/TOU.

I really don't care about the points. Right now I have -12252 points. (yes that is a negative for all who read this) I kinda like being so far down that it would take me years to dig out. I am persistent that way and I like a good challenge.

I just want to know that my request for amnesty was at least heard. If it was and I am still confined, I can live with that.

Perhaps its a mistake. I noticed some guy on here today ranting like a semi-literate, he has few articles and even fewer responses, yet he's listed as "super-elite."

Hmmmm...Perhaps Just John just found some more bugs?  Good that you are calling Admins attention to it.  It might make someone like Col Klink an Admin here!

Bump into forums in hopes that someone with the power to tell me why it is that I have been confined will actually see this.

I am not hopeful. My emails have gone unanswered and the threads this has been posted to still go unanswered.

I know I did somehting that was wrong ... I could do it again because the system is still broken ... I will get points for this comment.

I tried Karma. I initially sent my first mail message to Brad @ [email protected], but that was not correct. I later found his correct address after I mailed Karma. The first message was not returned so I assume that it got to someone within the organization.

I hate to be complaing about not getting service when this is free, but this really sucks. I did what was asked of me and I still got punished. The system is still broken. I still have points in messages that I gave myself. (thousands of them, not that they really make a dent in all of my negative points)

I just thought I would include a screen shot of the last ranking page. I am far lower than anyone else.

If you are the person that I think you are, it's the extent that you took it to to "prove a point".  Just because something *can* be done doesn't mean it should be.

I was not the one who confined you, so I can only guess what happened.  I forwarded your email to Brad.  However, he gets thousands of email a day, so it's possible that he didn't get to it.

We know that there are ways to manipulate the point system.  However, you are right, this is a free site.  We don't make money off it, so it gets worked on when we can get to it.  If people wouldn't exploit the points situation, it wouldn't be a problem.  They will work on it, they just haven't had time yet.
