If someone of you is looking for a good way to shut up that loud Intel P4 stock cooler
here is the solution I choose.
The ZALMAN cnps7700 - Cu.
This CPU cooler can be installed on Intel P4 motherboards and also on AMD motherboards
for Intel these are the supporting sockets:
775 CPU
478 CPU ( motherboard does not need to be removed )
for AMD:
Athlon 64
754 CPU
939 CPU
940 CPU
Everything you need to instal is included the only things you need yourself are a screwdriver or 2
This 120 mm ( 4.72 inch ) big fan is one of the largest fans on the market.
When you see the pictures on the net you would think whoow; that thing is loud.
On the contrary it only produces little sound or vibration in the silent mode.
The whole cooler is made out of Cupper ( the Cu in the series number )or Aluminum and Cupper combiened accept the fan ofcourse
The fan is made with a 2 ball bearing.
Along with the package comes a FanMate 2. With this you can manualy adjust the fan speed.
Real handy if you have a overclooked system and need the keep it cool to keep the components from melting of
I am verry satisfied about this product aldow it cost me 3 pins of my processor ( still works thank GOD )
