More server pain

I suspect like many of you, I've been very frustrated with JoeUser's unreliability and downtime recently.  It's just one of the downsides of increasing popularity and not having the resources to address it.

Last week, it really came to a head and we literlaly had to take the site down in ordre for any of our sites to stay up.  So while it was down, we started cleaning things up where we could.  We're still not happy where things rae but right now, we're up.

I am really sorry about the downtime.  It has been like going through withdrawal not being able to come on and check out what people have written.

Just wanted to thank you for all the hard work and frustration you may have experienced. I appreciate everything that has been done and stand solidly behind you.

By the way, did you capture and place the bug in a cage to display?

Dont worry, this is just my bug, not JU´s. He escaped cause I left the door open. Wont take long to catch him. Thanks for work, seriously!

It is simply great to have JU back on line. Life without JU is rather tepid and I am sure happy the the glitches have been fixed. GREAT JOB.

Thanks to you and your staff.  JU actually does seem zippier and working better!  We all missed the site.  I noted with Zoomba's 100 article that JU went from about 10k+ articles a year ago to over 80k now!  That is a huge growth rate in just one year!  It would be hard for anyone to stay on top of growth like that.

Thanks for all the great work you've done here with JU. Not just in the past week, but the entire time it's been around. I've been here for over a year now and truly appreciate the community and site you've worked so hard to build and maintain.

Thanks for all your hard work. I don't know how to thank you. Is there anything I can do--donations, usage patterns, whatever--to ease your pain?

Brad,

All I can say is I was breathing a big sigh of relief here. I kept checking the stardock site when I was on, and the lack of news concerned me.
