I followed a link from Neowin, using the Neowin gadget 
, that lead to Microsoft Watch where they had a little article with some promises from Microsoft regarding Longhorn. For instance, applications should launch 15% faster and boottime should be 50% faster. More numbers in the article. I thought it might interest people to read something that didn't talk about just the looks of Longhorn.
