5 years. We havent seen each other for five long years...

We were best friends for three years in highschool. Wherever you saw Laetitia, Emilia wasnt far. And if Emilia came through a door Laetitia was right behing. Our philosophy teacher nicknamed us the seamese sisters. New friends we would meet thought we were twins.

She went to France for her studies, I went to New Caledonia then came back to Vanuatu. We never lost contact. And yesterday was the first time in five years we held each other. Needless to say we our emotions overwhelmed us and we were crying in front of everybody.

There are so many things to say, so many tears to cry, so much laughter to share... I dont even know where to start but i can hardly wait! I'm taking next week off from work so that we make the most of this short time together.

She's here with her beau for two weeks. I'm so glad she's home :)

Oh i definetely will Mano! We've got so many plans for when i take my week off, like a tour round the island, a day on a cruise, a stay at a hot springs hotel in the north, and shopping of course, and restaurants!!!

Another school mate just came back for holidays last night so that's good too, we've got so much catch up to do!!!!!

I saw a friend recently that I have not seen since 1974! It was weird, all that time had passed and we had a lifetime of memories that we did not share. It was kind of sad in a way because we were the best of friends back then and now we have absolutly nothing in common. Like I said, weird...

Yeah, we were scared that it would be awkward like that too, but we're doing pretty good, we've got heaps of catching up to do and we're both enjoying this so much

I agree with that last sentence! If it wasnt for the net i think we'd have lost touch. Letters tend to arrive so late and sometimes a letter she sent would arrive after we'd exchange a couple of other ones. So yeah, thank god for hotmail and msn, lol!
