In the forums, several people have little icons/avitars next to their comments.....How can I do that? I'm so brain dead that I need someone to explain it to me...I just can't figure it out .

Simple answer: Go here
More complex answer: The icons are a wincustomize feature that we can also use here due to how the sites are linked. If you go to wincustomize and then the update images section of your account there (see link above) you can set your personal icon. And yes, you have a wincustomize account, same one as on joeuser. Find an icon you want to use and put it in personal icon and you should be all set.

Possibly due to viewing method? The icons don't show up on your blog proper, you have to view it through the forum (or wincustomize or one of the other stardock websites).

And this link will show you the same article through your blog, where the icons don't show up. Perhaps someday that will change, but that's how it works today. Also of note, the links I post look odd in the forums...
