Thomas James has been in my life since I was born, but it wasn't till 2 years ago. When he was reintroduced to my life. We don't call him Thomas, we call him Tom.
Tom is a person who you want to be around, he can never stay angry, and can't stand people mad at him. But Tom is different from everybody else, he does things that make him stand out from everybody else.
When you ever see Tom, he is usuallly always wearing and red shirt with a pocket and levi blue jeans. He never wears a shirt with out a pocket because he has to have a pen in the pocket, he told my bother that is when you become a man and you are ready to talk business and he always keep his cigaritess there too. He always had a coffee at hand, I never saw somebody drink so much coffee, he would drink coffee anywhere, he buys so much that people would just let him get what he wants without paying.
Tom is a loveable person, and over the years he has became a friend, unlce, and a dad to me. I love Tom with all me heart.
This past christmas Tom life took a fall. Tom was diagnosed with brain tumors, that were cancerous. The doctor gave Tom 24-48 hours to live. Tom with the support from his family and friends made it through then they gave him 2 weeks, Tom made it through, 2 months Tom made it through.
Today Tom is still here, it has been 32 weeks, since he was diagnosed.
Today is also Tom and his wife's 18th wedding anniversary.
Tom is going slowly and slowly each day, we are all hoping that he will make it through and get his strenght back. Tom had been through a lot in his time.
This past friday was Tom's anniversary of his accident when a tractor had fell on top of him crushing him undernearth of it. Tom made it through.
I could remeber my dad saying something about going up to the hospital and visiting Tom because he was hurt and I wanted to go but dad told me no, that I had to stay home b.c I was to young. Today I know that my dad made his decision that was best for me and he made the right one.
I am afraid, I am scaried, I don't know what I am going to do with out him. It is going to be hard going up there everyday to see him and Tom not being there.
Tom was there for my 16th birthday, Tom and my dad were always looking out for what was best for me. Tom was like my second dad, just because a guy was okay with my dad, he also had to meet Tom too.
I will miss him greatly, he is still here and I am spending all I can with him, making his life right now the best it can be.
If you would please keep Tom and his friends, family, and anybody else that is close to him in your prayers.
Thank you so much, God Bless you all,
Stacey
