Already chose to learn the Windows environment to the best of my ability.

I won't have a life if I try to learn another OS at any competent level.

The pricing for Windows might be better if there is competition though - (at least I hope so).

I might. I'm curious about this OS. So I might consider it out of curiosity if the pricing remains reasonable. $129 would be fine.

I have way too much time and money invested in Windows software to switch unless it was so compelling I just had to have it. And that is very unlikely. It's possible that I would I would run it as a second OS, though, if the price was right.

If Apple made OS X for PC's as well as Mac's it would probably put a big dent in the Windows market and put a dent in the Linux world as well.

Geez, chill. All I did was say the word porn, in a joking manner no less. That's hardly a dirty word. If the mere mention of the word offends you, you must live a very sheltered life.

I disagree, but that's okay.

The joke was directed at myself anyway, so I'm not sure why anyone would get bent out of shape over it. I think some people just look for stuff to be offended by. It must suck to go through life with that attitude.

To go with the topic - I don't know - never used any other OS. It would have to be cheap enough to be considered a throw away in case I didn't like it.

Hm, I would definitely dual-boot for a while, and not knowing how easy dual-booting is..

For the sake of a little clarity....

I read it the right way the first time.  There's certainly no reason to have this 'issue' turning up all over the forums.

I think people should step back a little and smell the roses...
