Replying to Articles

Is it possible for non-JoeUser users to reply to postings? I know that ideally you'd want to have them sign-up to JoeUser but some people just don't have the time to commit to a blog. Maybe a screening process would be possible so if someone replied to one of my postings and wasn't a JoeUser user I would have to unscreen it before it became visible - this would stop nonsense or offensive posting by anonymous individuals.
Currently you can select who can see your article - what about selcting who can comment?
