Masterichoo,

What did you do to install it?

A screensaver should be nothing more that a ".scr" file which - in Windows 2000 or XP - is placed in "C:\WINDOWS\system32" folder (where "C" is the letter drive).

You then use the "Display Properties > Screen Saver tab > select screensaver from list > click "Apply".

If your procedure differs from this on either Windows 2000 or XP, you might try this way instead.

Note - make sure the file you have is a ".scr" file, and test the functionality using the default Windows theme - then customize after verification.

I hope this helps in some way.

Does your system have onboard video, Flurry is an open GL screensaver, video card needed. It does not state this in
dropdown list, most that are will say it is. I could not use until installed video card.

Hi everyone,

@Corky O : Yes, that's exactly what I did. The last thing I tried is to right click on the .scr file and to choose "install"... Anyway the installation is good because flurry.src appears in the task list after some minutes.

@DD : I have XP SP2

@CC : I have ATI (Mobility) Radeon X700 installed

Thanks anyway.
Other things : the problem is not specific to Flurry, "Alpha Galaxy" doesn't work... but the original windows screensavers work.
