My Grandfather goes in for open heart surgery next week. My Grandma is a nervous wreck. They have been married almost 60 years and I am convinced they are soul mates. I don't think my Grandma would be able to go on without him.

Please say a prayer for them!

oh alison! I'm so sorry he has to go through that!!

Michael and I will definitely be praying for his complete and speedy recovery!!

My grandparents had been married 67 years when my grandpa died...none of us thought that my grandma would be able to handle it. She actually did quite well for another 5 years. She was never the same, but it turns out that she was a lot stronger than we thought.

*sigh* I miss them
