Poll: Do you use XP Home or Pro?

Just wondering...

Just from my skin downloads for the same skin in Home and Pro flavor, Home is up by 10 downloads. What XP do you use?

I use Pro because I am studying Network Administration slowly at work - (I am an assistant manager of the Quality Control department, and a "field" helper for the Network Administrators when time and necessity permits) - to attain a professional level of competence with the OS.

Pro has a lot of administrator security and networking features that are absent in the Home edition.

In order to get all the advantage from Windows and to learn advanced skills I use Pro.

My old desktop (being fixed) was upgraded from WindowsME to XP Home. I just bought a laptop and it has XP Pro.

Anyone use that press the green button whatever one? It's nice looking by default. Tried to find the theme but apparently can't get it for pro or home, I use pro though, and just got that one because I figured it sounded better.

Home would be fine if I didn't need IIS. But since I need to have IIS to build my websites, I have Pro.

Pro. Had home, but the OEM install was missing some features (like recovery console) that I wanted to have.

Since I have no need at home for networking and work provides systems for me to test with, I use XP Home.

Paxx, you can actually run IIS on XP Home - http://www.xfriday.com/xp_home_iis_problem.asp It takes a little work, but it can be done.

I don't like either of them really Naa, I use XP Professional. I am studying programming, and I'll be moving on to web building soon. After that, I think I might study Information Technology. After I get that done I think I'll be working with computers...lmao Got any openings Stardock?
